This is the crazy thing Mambamentality, Newmont/Agnico have voted in favour of continuing their investment in Anza which means they like what they see. This is obviously a very positive signal to what OMI have, yet the sp has just continually dropped since that RNS and is at such a low point. It really makes zero sense to me however i do also think drilling news is so close now and also do expect a massive boost to the sp from this level.
I am still stuck which may be good luck.
I keep an eye and no wonder why.
Up or down ? Behind a door stands a clown.
Buy when fundamentals improve and share price falls not the other way round. I will keep topping up. By now my largest holding and confident it will come good. It is now 2 months and three weeks since the RNS in 4 July. This is now the longest time we have gone without drilling results this year following the previous RNS. Thus, I would say the next set of drilling results should be released next week. Fundamentals have improved dramatically following the drilling campaign, the exit of Loryser and the decision by Monte Aguila to take over operations. I cannot say I am happy with the performance of the share price but I am pretty happy with the improvement in fundamentals. Thus, I am not selling but buying more. I wonder if anyone would have sold GGP after Newcrest took control of Havieron knowind the rate at which they have carried out drilling. As I notice before from Turner Pope's analysis: Orosur board has also noted repeatedly in investors presentations that big companies like Newmont and Agnico need big projects ie a +5 million Au field. They therefore would have held off any decision to take control until gaining sufficient comfort that Anza offers this potential, given that they already have multiple of other exploration projects and joint ventures of this scale also demanding attention.
This really couldn’t have worked out better rr flying and Omi dropping daily. Thanks for all the free shares.
biker, what peers are you comparing us to? please offer something other than ggp.
I hope my investment will go up one day.
I am long and strong but old. MY H/L account on hold.
My computer good enough to write a note.
Can't press the button to buy or sell. That's a task
for the bold. The Internet is no longer safe. Crooks
are determined and everywhere. Take care.
I can’t keep up with all this news in this news rich period. Too much for my little brain to handle.
Don’t tar others with your incompetence springs to mind mapp. Learn from lessons don’t criticise or you will never grow.
Bigger picture OMI with big major endorsement is the wise choice.
Fully funded cash rich and no debt.
Results pending OMI should leave even GGP in the dust. Very promising to date.
Prime example of what I said last night UFO shot up 15% then straight back down again and you couldn’t sell. Takes the &£”@
I sat with many GGP shares after Newmont walked and topped up and reduced my huge losses as I researched and liked what I could see especially with Ernest Giles. Then along came Havieron and the SP exploded. I’ve been in OMI a similar length of time now and see similarities BUT with far far less shares in issue. This could very well be bigger
Taken control *
Webb’s I remember it being like that with GGP until the market switched on and it 20 bagged.
I expect the same here eventually and eventually could be soon you never know.
At the point of exhaustion and moving on I can see this taking off and maintaining the markets interest.
All down to what Newmont and Agnico report from here.
No worries of funding and debt here and the majors have taken the to the bridge so they must like the potential that we have and they only like big.
Hah Haaaah - "All well here; very busy trying to manage year 6 in primary school."
Primary school teacher - who is loaded : )
Hi Impy
Why do you get up at 5am???? What do you do??? I guess you are loaded so I'm going to guess you work in the financial services industry???
Hi, Webbs
I don't normally agree with you; but on this matter, you do make a very good point.
Best wishes
The thing is even if they do give a update it will spike up and everyone who is sick of the long drawn out waiting jumps out then back to where it started with another 3 months Till another RNS. TBH it is starting to get all a bit same old.
It is with great pleasure…..that the sp has dropped because we haven’t updated the market. Come on, give the shareholders great pleasure
Hi, Biker @15.48
I don't want to be difficult, but I think you're over-reacting. A falling share price is annoying; but one has to ask, why is it falling? If it's falling on bad company news, one should get out; but if it's falling on negative sentiment, one should stay in or buy more. Here the news is good; the only problem is, the market doesn't get it (as the CEO of GGP said two years ago). All will be well.
Best wishes
This would be easy money if only you could short this.
We’ve not long finished our first drill campaign…. On the strength of that the two majors have decided to take over operations and are, in my opinion, going to throw some serious cash at the Anza project over the next 12 months. Literally only just scratched the surface.
What patience can you have all positive rns have been sold and we are back to the low we were 5 months ago. This AIM market is a total disaster
If your nervous calculate shares in issue by the market cap GGP went to in the last year prior to being played down. Then you will realise what could easily happen for a similar percentage share in JV we have within even bigger player than GGP. Don’t go too soon and stay the long game
