Been waiting long enough for this to happen.Schiff always said the longer it took to happen only meant when it did happen it would be all the more explosive
Get them in the 4s while you can. Gold is the sector to be in right now.

Nice 1 wolfy, agree peeps are buying and positioning themselves for the inevitable rise it would seem, as may day draws ever closer, the drill, drill, who knows where the sp will be then but I suspect much higher than now, have I got this right, buritica sold for about 1 billion dollars, right on our doorstep same post code, maybe same geology and little ol omi mcap about 9 million pounds or am I missing something.
That's how I'm seeing it as well Chicken. MM have tested the supply in the lower 4s, taken what's available, and that's why we have ticked up. Those of us waiting for the retrace might need to re-think now. But don't spend too much time thinking about it though, especially not on a Friday, as you could end up missing out again. GLA
It looks like a few are starting to add after patiently waiting to see if it would drop any further. For me the MM's dropped it there to fish and gather a few. It's shark infested waters looking to take out the weak legs.
Yeah bb chat is good though it will all change when we go up or go down, looks like most folk are positioned waiting patiently hoping for a nice rise. GLA.
Hi, Zap
Thanks for the reply. As I've said before, the quality of debate on this chatboard (with a few exceptions) is excellent.
Best wishes
Think you might have been just in time Predator. Looking at the chart, it wouldn't surprise me if this makes another move towards 5p as early as tomorrow. Lots of us are waiting for a retrace, which might not happen!!! GLA
Hi Impecunious,
I agree with "by extricating us from the jv on the best possible terms" - when he delivers on this - i am sure he will but not sure when this will be done. My issue is that his messaging (and appreciate covid and jv restrictions) around timelines have been so off the mark. I would suggest that he knew this and that is the v reason why he did not buy in. Even now he has just a placing on rubbish terms - why would he do that if he knows we are going to drill in May. Any fool knows that even on speculation, he could get a better price.
i will leave it that. I dont want to post anymore -Its not in my interest for this to stagnate. We have amazing LTH and i wish them all well. I believe the resource is massive and this will be huge. just a bit cautious - Brad needs to do much more to win me over. GLA
True that bhargav it's hard to argue regarding the performance (bod and share price). Although all junior miners have taken a pasting over the last few years I still think that C&M should never have been dragged out this long. Should never have been at 2s. Bod still not out the woods for us but it's a step in right direction. Maybe Newmont can do us a solid somewhere you know since they are our biggest shareholder.A lot of talk about 20, 30, 40 bags swirling around juniors at the mo. Fact or fiction I don't know, but I think it is definitely wise for having some exposure to gold and some junior picks in one's portfolio along with your safe stocks like Sainsbury's and Tesco :)
Just bought some more, have a little reserve left if the bad boy retraces to top up, missed the low today too busy sleeping haha 😄 fecking night shift.
I would like to think 7-8p before the RNS....tweets are BoDs attempts to approach and engage with the market hinting/ paving the way to what's to come, if that's taken well and positive than 7+ can be easily seen in a
few weeks times.
Confidence in the BoD is the key which has been at all time low for quite sometime now and rightly so....
Indeed legal. As the days pass likelihood of an RNS increases up to the optimal point of the end of the month. Could come quicker could come later, who knows, nobody has a crystal ball unless on the inside. Clearly the team have been vocal on twitter, almost daily tweets. Surprised an RNS hasn't come from the minor plots to keep it flowing, but I think they are storing that news flow until an RNS come re Colombia. I don't expect Brad would be putting his reputation on the line like this if it wasn't already a done deal but your right, from Omi's track record, especially the phase 2 calamity, totally get why people are waiting for the official news drop. Will be paying considerably higher I'd imagine for that though.
Hi, Zap
You are right, when you say "Brad has never delivered any news on time." But those delays were due to Covid and the joint venture (which he didn't create, but inherited). He's now his own man, and we can see his character appearing in the tweets (which I'm happy to read; they are much better than the alternative, which is a funereal silence); he has proved his competence, by extricating us from the jv on the best possible terms; and we will see further proofs of that in the near future.
MM now willing to take £10k at 4.3 (which previously was around the Ask) whereas buying that amount is now 4.8p. It shows that these sub 4.5p shares are being accumulated and supply of them is drying up. IF this type of accumulation continues, it will soon be shares in the mid 4s that get accumulated next. There is every chance we could be in the 5s BEFORE the RNS lands. When you consider how much money is likely to be on the side lines is waiting for the RNS to land, who knows what price this could end up at following the RNS? All before any drilling as well. All imo and dyor
Yes,5.8 p obviously was a spike we are hovering close to 4 p. Much better than 2 p. I am happy to see sp go below 4 p so I can average down a bit. Don’t like averaging up in the 4s.
I am of the let’s see what actually gives but ok buying around 4 p .
MMS playing a blinder pulling down the ask and making out that it's down when in reality we are the same as we have been for best part of week. Probably mostly all buys today :)
If I was new in Omi, I would be optimistic for sure.
Having been here for quite some time and based on what has happened previously, I would say my opinions are more realistic than pessimistic.
