They did the same thing a my local Asda apparently, but the riff raff turned up for ding meals 'n booze.....! (not in that order either) security involved, and didn't go smoothly......... :(
so I heard.............! but that was last week..........!
My time line on goods, is Week1 Bog roll, Week2 booze, Week3 (now) eggs...........? ;)
All the best (..........'n flour if you can get it :)
good luck, an a genuine stay safe...........!
Haven't had a bet since the Gold Cup exactly two weeks ago Chesh. Not really interested in Australian racing or the Belarusian Premier league. Lol. Probably good for my bank balance. Might be balanced out by expenditure on malt whisky.
Will be going out next week for a shop in the first hour on Monday at Sainsburys set aside for over 70's. Turns out being over 70 isn't enough to get a priority on line slot. You need to have certain conditions as well, which makes perfect sense. I'll take my chances with the rest of the "one foot in the grave club". Lol.
All the best (you couldn't make it up)
"Chesh is notable by his absence. Bet even he can't think of anything optimistic to say. Lol."
..........you are running out of things to bet on Gord.............! eh..?
All the best (reading the BB always, whether at work or not mate :)
Stay safe, did you get your shop in........... ?
MrI. Thanks for that. Actually had an account that I had forgotten about. Lol.
Any chance of them fixing this site so that it shows all the trades?
Not sure about the warm weather theory, cases in morocco gone from 8 to 134 in 9 days, average daytime temps are around 24C already
At the end of the day it’s no different from any other share, we’re in the dark with all the high level decisions being made and you can either speculate and think the worst or think positively. Things can change in the blink of an eye and that’s the risk we take investing in companies like this. Most people thought GGP was doomed and sold out only for it to go up over 100%. We don’t have a clue what’s going to happen and my feeling is all will come good eventually but heh I could be wrong!
I don’t like how they say the deal is behind closed doors. For all we know Mickey Mouse is the winner.
You’d hope Oilex has access to see what is going on and progress!
It’s literally 50/50 if we pull through.
India are in complete lockdown, the oil/gas price has fallen dramatically.
This means cambay is no longer worth as much as it was before the oil war with Russia and Saudi Arabia.
The winning bidder knows they could get this at a cheaper price now.
If you knew you could buy capital at a discounted rate due to market conditions, you’d rather pull out and provide a new bid or go else where. (Thus a deal collapse and we are fooked). No deal or a very delayed deal.
We can only hope that there’s a a signature that once accepted they can’t pull out no matter what.
We don’t know how protected the deal is. All we were told was 90days but yet we are miles passed that and there’s been NO penalties in our favour...
This is why I’m losing trust in what is said in the RNSs.
90days blah blah blah, what has happened? Absolutely nothing! There’s so much BS floating around.
When I say don’t understand things I mean my perception is people have got bored and sold out because of the delays and nothing else?
Genuine question, I’ve been invested here for a while and don’t fully understand things. I have a fair bit tied up in this share and fortunately invested at around .9 so not too down but will sell out and take a hit if there is literally no hope now in a recovery?
Lol
Er, high risk, what planet are you on? No offence, but really?
Morning all, please can someone explain why the negativity with this stock. It seems like a very good opportunity to me at these prices with news just round the corner which is very likely to be positive? Am I missing something??
I bet Aaron would like to make contact. In more ways than one!
Chesh is notable by his absence. Bet even he can't think of anything optimistic to say. Lol.
If this sale goes through, it will be the biggest relief to date. I wonder how Aaron is feeling? I’m keen to make contact with the 2 people he spoke to.
Love to think you are right about that being a way out Yuri. Unfortunately there is no way it would be enough. There is a million or two in start up fees before you even think about drilling. I now feel we will be lucky if they survive the year.
It does, but we need actual figures. They are legally covered to only cut their pay by $1.
Lol as I said, I’m probably being petty but I prefer clear, bold, detailed and to the point statements.
To be fair it does say Joe is doing it to save costs so presumably his pay has halved.
If the cambay sale collapses, we will be left with no choice but to sell our stake for a bad price. Then use what ever money is left to fund Cooper.
Was it made clear that if the sale collapses we win Cambay?
I wonder if Joe has thought about ways oilex can go down a different road to make money in other ways and start up a side project of producing green energy. That seems to be the growing market.
Thank you Yuri. We are OK really. Plenty worse off. Last went shopping last Friday. Will try again Monday. Guess stocks might have improved by then.
Did drive to do a nice walk yesterday. Probably against the rules but in my opinion a lit safer for me and others than walking near my home. Saw very few people and gave those a wide berth. Atb.
We have now reached the point where even if they raised and doubled the number of share it still would only be enough just to keep things ticking over for a few months. The only slight hope would be if against all expectations, a really good deal came through quickly. Given what Joe has done, very unlikely. Atb.

A legal document has to say everything in detail. Because there is no word of a pay cut, they can legally continue to pay themselves the same wage and be working less. (50% pay rise, nice!)
He does come across humble, polite and a generally nice person. But when it comes to personal finances, maybe there’s a different side to him.
Shame you don’t live in the county Gordon otherwise I’d get your shopping for you. The shops where I am are back fully stocked.
