looks like the market likes the sound of Jaspers conversation with the new CEO :-)
All you people bloody moaning. What has actually changed? If the GOI approval had come with Cambay sale finalisation like London buses - would the SP have gone any higher? I mean really? Would it *******s. It was already priced in - perhaps 1 or 2% more. We would then still have had to wait for field activities, drilling of wells and potential JV partner for this thing to make any substantial rise - and that will still be the case. It is the commercialisation of the gas that or the drilling with pending results of this where we are going to see that big rise and that is what stock like these are - speculative, you just got to hope that you have backed the right horse and I believe this one will ultimately pay us, just not today. The SP today is a reflection of patience - plain and simple. The usual suspects will enter back in once the GOI approval is announced, spout a load of crap for 5 mins, then sod off once they realise they have to wait another short while before field activities start. THAT is when we are going to see real movement and that in my opinion is absolutely worth waiting for. But in the meantime, lets stop the BS and bickering over irrelevant details that are not going to change the outcome. P.s Jasper thanks for the info, very welcomed. Roland sounds like he has the experience for sure, but we need someone to drive through these two projects in order to provide meaningful ROI.
Always light at the end of the tunnel.
I think the new CEO has a vast amount of experience and will drive things forward quite fast.
Still lots of things to happen but first is GOI approval. This could come soon.
You are like a broken record. If anything the new CEO is under promising and hopefully going to over deliver. Sheesh you are only negative and have openly admitted you want more shares at a lower price.
Think it’s back to the old days of OEX , over promise and under deliver.
If those time scales are correct no fund who took part in the placing will hold for that long, as soon as the price goes up they will off load stifling any rise until the next wave. Bottom draw for these now
Or maybe it is just hot air... lol
100% agree with that statement. I still don’t get why someone with such good credentials takes a salary of a 150k none of the directors have bought any more shares either. This new ceo is already talking to investors and saying potentially 12/24 months return. Has this guy not got better things to be getting on with
I don't see timing as bad, personally. You say he is unproven but everyone has been at some stage in their career. Joe is a good judge of character and although the SP is down at the moment, its only due to no news - not underperformance.
I see an 88e happening here. A large spike to the 3/4p area on good news, and level off at around 0.9 tp 1.1p area.
DYOR as always, and what do I know.
I saw a JV as the best way to fund the drills and commercialisation by selling say 45% of Cambay, it would also revalue Cambay for the share holders, as the current value is understated due to the low price paid for GSPCs 55%, which we now have had confirmed the low price is in not small part due to the $5M plus outstanding cash calls owed to Oilex being written off, as part of the deal.
This is what i posted when the new CEO was announced.
"I don't see any positives in this tbh.
Right in the middle of some really important projects, the driving force behind it and CEO jumps ship, effectively.
I not trying to be negative but where is the upside?
Not wanting to be down on the new boss, but we now have an unproven CEO, taking the reins on project spread across the world at key moment when we are likely looking for a JV in India.
Come on Joe this timing is bad."
I think you both making a jump there.
It was always my opinion a JV farm in was the solution and the next big jump in share price, but like i said when we were told about a new CEO, it would push everything back, as Joe is not going make that decision of progress things with a new CEO coming in.
I had no way to know, a new CEO was coming, who did?
I start to get very suspicious when a CEO starts talking to investors especially when they talk about potential deals. So from he’s said is not good news in my opinion, one they are 12 / 24 months away from investors seeing any kind of return. Two they have hinted or in conger2 opinion they are behind which will explain the 12/24 months return on investment. When CEO’s start answering emails with phone calls to investors in my opinion that’s not a good sign
Conger
So what has previously been said(in your opinion) about JV partners was just hot air.
Looks like chappy may have been brought on board to fix a sinking ship.
O i asked about a JV farm in at Cambay, and he said, they are considering options and have some potential suitable parties.
I got the impression, they are behind on this and no decisions have been made on getting a JV in or going alone at this point.
O and Indonesia is not proceedable yet, no licence issued, and the Cash Calls, were taken into account in the Cambay deal price, which goes a long way to explain the very low price they paid for GSPCs 55%.
Based on the material available I have a gut feeling (and only a feeling) that this guy is a doer not a talker, a quality that's been missing from the equation for sometime now
He rang me also, but other that the focus is Cambay and the UK gave very little away.
Think Roland is just keeping expectations realistic and giving the OEX team some wiggle room
Thanks Jasper. Atb.
I’ll summarise in a post tomorrow. Gordon ... home on Friday, being dosed up with painkillers so just taking each day at a time, thanks for asking.
Hope to get some more News b4 the end of Q2.. can't see why we have to wait 12-24 months before something happens, in my mind it's already happening. Just waiting on GOI or am I missing something. ;-)
Hi Jasper. Hope you are recovering well after your op. Appreciate you are unable to share too much from a private conversation. Did he specifically say you couldn't share anything? Not even general stuff about which area(s) they might concentrate on. Atb.
Behave yourself Wolfie. Lol.
Jasper let’s hope that confidence brings us a couple of pence in the future if not more! :)
