This would barely cover the infrastructure in place at Bhandut
" 3 years later; Ongoing costs with little in return, outstanding payments, a court case, arbitration"
is exactly the effort to which I was referring............. :)
All the best (now why........... we will hold our own, if not more ;)
Holiday judge..............!
Yes Mr I, pretty much agree with all of that. Circumstances have changed and I am sure that they want to get rid of what they regard as a thorn in their side. Whilst they obviously want to get the best price they can, with debts in the billions, it's not going to make a massive difference to them if they get 5 or 25 million. Atb.
There were development, JV cost's, being argued over. Along with a certain Ron Miller.............!
Before my time here......... but shenanigans going on back then..........!
All the best (Cambay is the prize :()
True enough buci. Not sure it makes much difference though. It always likely to be renewed and any new players would need to be approved by the Indian authorities. Doesn't invalidate my point that they weren't desparate to hold onto it. Gla.
Three years ago the concession had only one year left. Today, after the extension of the concession there are eight years left.
So MrI, if gspc were so desparate to hang onto Cambay, why did they try to sell it 3 years ago, and why didn't they succeed. Love to know what happened then. Bids not high enough? Gla.
Big then..................!
and with all respects due to you Mr.I. the value of sale is of no consequence to us (OEX), the first refusal, or preferred partner is our call, and future earning from Cambay will far exceed the sale price.............. IMO
All the best (hope that makes sense :()
You can't argue that we've not put in the effort to keep hold of the prize............!
and India itself needs gas............!
All the best (we need to be there for it.......... :)
holiday judges.............!
Well I hope we're not going to leave Cambay for cheap, after all this time, just as it's on the brink of being commercial via a new JV partner........... :)
Thought the main focus, outside of India, was Cooper Basins Oz anyway..........?
All the best (Cambay can be an earner, for not to much "more" effort :)
Seems to me Oilex are clearing the decks of all old assets as they prepare for Oilex East Irish Sea.
