But they won't announce retailers starting to sell, the announcement would be a uk distributor. They might put out one of their "we highly welcome...blah..blah..blah...the uk allowing wider sales to the home", trying to create news by association, which is their default when they don't actually have news. But it won't be an RNS.
I'm sure several here are scanning the official gov list and I await we eager anticipation postings on here of the list of retailers selling odx visitect test. Given the usual suspects still think odx have warehouses full of this test by now, there must be loads of visitect retailers on there....right ?
"I would say if any significant change had occurred then ODX should be RNS'ing the fact." Then, it seems, nothing significant has occurred. Long Term Holders for the win, as there is no other way. Just sit on hands, sleep or ignore for the moment.
And why people think ODX would be announcing anything related to home testing today, I have no idea. The announcement would have been made when they signed-up a major uk distribution deal, not when some online retailers start operating.
yeah well done tricky for discovering that odx announced in dec 2020 that mologic had ce approval. as per the video that was discussed on here several months ago, the covios is the same test as the original, they used the same findx dta when discussing it. Only the handling changed. And as the ce is for professional use, the handling doesn't matter.
The dates on the ec approval search site were also proved here NOT to relate to the date of approval.
Its like people don't read anything on here, and are attracted to the next shiny light.
I really don't know why everyone can't ignore this tosspot of an attention seeking trader that is Twatcher.
Anyway the radio silence from Odx is deafening. If ever there was a test of patience it is Colin and this company. Trigger happy on the comms unless it really matters. Transformational year now has to be transformational in the next 5 months

Your credibility has been shot to pieces though, hasn't it? Your message changes as your position does. TChancer, TTrader, TShyster. And you complain about not being trusted. Busted but not trusted.
"TW, am not sure this matters to Omega shareholders - where we are tonight"
it very much matters to me that she proclaims me a liar, when it is in fact the exact opposite.
The Gov list is published tomorrow
‘Eligible travellers will be able to order cheaper lateral flow tests from private testing providers as an alternative to a PCR, offering faster results. The list of approved private providers will go live on GOV.UK on 22 October’
We will be on the list …. Guessing now but once the list is public then maybe RNS? Either way we are on it just if they Tweet then RNS
Formality now
Will this news mean a RNS will have to be issued tomorrow
Me too Profit
All about capacity now and we have that… 100M
This looks like massive news. I didn’t expect it to come quite this way (i.e. it looks like the CE marking for professional use ((which we have)) will allow us to sell to the UK travel market. Like I say, I didn’t see it coming quite this way. Next week is going to be very interesting - for starters!
Hi Chris,
Kind of over shadowed now …. Great news tonight
What a position for Omega to be in , 100M capacity and we can sell direct to the public
Didn’t expect it to be as straight forward
EU / USA next up
We will sell all we make - buzzing tonight
Oke
Good post, well thought through
Good to see the SP has had a little % Rise today, but I do think I am just hoping and praying for news about this stock, Pros and Cons Government contract BOOM, BUT then have we had any hard cash on our books ?, any orders coming in, Mologic test NOT approved, No covid orders coming in, other companies have the contracts approved and doing business and supplying all over the world, HAVE WE MISSED THAT BOAT sorry to say I do think we have, this stock has hurt my pension in a big way,
I am going to have to take a big hit on this one and will sell a good chunk, unless anyone can tell me I am missing something here ???? GLA does the board have any news
Nice spot Auaddicted, whatever we may think of the government we can surely agree that Bill will not have missed the opportunity to push Mologic and therefore ODX.
TWatcher still vying for everyone's approval and acceptance. As you said yourself to me a long time ago : " Why are you so worried about the opinions of some faceless persona on the internet?"
...this is all very important to you isn't it ?..must be very lonely where you are.
TW, am not sure this matters to Omega shareholders - where we are tonight
Personal view - I may be wrong but this how I see it.
It’s comforting to see the mologic biotech achieve what appears to be a decent performance via an independent EU instructed trial, the false positives/negative ratio's look good overall, we can’t access the Ct / viral load data but these 2 lines provide comfort
Ok so for tactical reasons it was agreed that Omega would be the entity that applied for EU HUA, I suggest this was due to Omega being the better engineer of the two, hence when the EU asked for a user ability study Omega obliged and we can surmise they cleared the hurdle - not saying Mologic are not competent but Omega have a high standing in the diagnostic industry, their paper/ film is considered top draw and they provide consistently high performance kit.
So we are where we are, waiting on the EU but knowing the biotech element is passable and we have submitted a decent deck which has not as yet been passed or failed - think this is fair comment.
Until last week I thought our only chance to secure U.K. HUA was via the back door of EU HUA but the Government web site indicating there was a possibility tests would be included that are basically in the system has to give us hope we may well be one of the said tests - fingers crossed
suggest Omega submitted their test as well
USA - all down to Mologic that one .
Good luck to all holders, feels like a big few days
Maybe Bill & Saj discussed it?

The exact point I made about the mologic test is that it Has been ce approved since dec 2020 (they RNS'ed it at the time), but at no time did they apply for it to be included on the "appropriate for us" list, a list that EU governments use to select LFT for national campaigns.
Somehow tricky turned that into that I was lying...I'm not....nasty bit of deliberate misleading.
1) I said the Mologic test was CE approved in dec 2020...it is:-
https://www.lse.co.uk/news/ODX/omega-notes-ce-mark-for-mologics-rapid-covid-19-test-kd6urr5jxczgj1x.html
2)I said it was surprising that Mologic never applied to appear on the eu appropriate to use list....it is neither on the included list, nor is it on the rejected list, which means it was never applied for.
the included listed
https://ec.europa.eu/health/sites/default/files/preparedness_response/docs/covid-19_rat_common-list_en.pdf
The excluded list:-
https://ec.europa.eu/health/sites/default/files/preparedness_response/docs/covid-19_rat_common-list_addendum_en.pdf
That excluded list above, for the first time lists "tests under discussion". The mologic test is not on that list either.
Zero no false positives - very good
