ODX are where Novacyt where in May. It's time for ODX to join the party. And remember its not just a Covid play , CK said CD4 would be the main revenue stream in years to come.
If Covid stays to any degree odx have a good chance of being an ncyt as they simply will be taking on an amount of their current tests through poc.
The government will turn more and more to accurate poc tests, something that is already underway and evident. Over time lab will reduce, poc in all arenas will increase
Same. I brought all 3 back in February, and unfortunately sold ncyt in late June for a nice profit, and average up here, as I thougt things with covid would have have changed and antibody testing would be the thing now.,not normal testing.
I wish I still had my ncyt shares now, could made extra 5k.
But I still have not sold any here, and I still think antibody is what is needed, And I am sure ODX will be doing an ncyt at some point, it's just taking a little longer!
Doug
I'm pretty new to ODX but bought in on the Options isssue in July. I bought into Val on the involvement in Covid,(which doesn't appear to much atm ) and their prostate cancer treatments. Both are doing well but VAL are being played on AIM I feel.
Would of love to be in on NOVACYT at the same time like everyone else.
I'm holding on to both for a good while.
I personally think its wise not have all your eggs in one basket BUT you need to be alert to enable you to sell shares that you think are not moving as quickly as you want. ODX I consider to be a good share to have and can see it moving upwards very soon. The stock market has a way of moving money though from the impatient to the patient and only a few people have a degree in hindsight, I certainly haven't!
Dougnew...in addition to the four stocks you mention, I also have AVCT, ORPH, Gilead, IDH, SYN and Deepverge - all have Covid elements in their business. Quite diversified as you can see. Not all will be Covid stars, but they all have non-covid aspects to their businesses. And I also have pharmas that are not covid-related in my portfolio. And that's not to mention all the miners/oil & gas/tech companies I also hold shares in....
I'm fairly new to this game and share chat so if my question is inappropriate i apologise.
I currently hold 3 covid stocks in addition to odx - happy with odx as i see great potential but i have strayed off a bit and bought into brh, gdr and val - dallied a bit in ncyt and did ok but came out too early to maximise my gains (my fault) - odx apart: do you think it is wise to diversify so much?
As i said earlier, if you my question is 'off topic' then please don't reply and i apologise.
