Not necessarily. If they do release news now it would restore confidence on a number of fronts
One being that they have kept a tight lid on price sensitive information which inmv would go long way. Gor me anyway.
Happy days ahead! ODX at the centre of the impending UK Covid wartime manufacturing of LFTs, Assisting the country in getting the economy going and keeping the economy going, allowing freedom of movement again with assistance from your many many multiples of LFT tests you’ll be having throughout the next few years.
....can’t wait for the imminent news flow & to see the SP multi bag from here. Confident CK & his hundreds of employees will deliver!
Bet poor old Bill Rhodes is feeling sick as a pig selling out when he did !
I have had 12 months practice and just glad I have those 18p and 33p shares to keep me going. I am very sure about this one but it is hard to see it drop back so many times.
Patient gregg. Mate !!!
Omega are not the gatekeeper of their own news at this time. As far as we can see they have done everything they can on their end to prepare, scale up, CE mark products and hire appropriate staffing levels.
Rightly or wrongly they are currently beholden to DHSC for the majority of what we are waiting for. They may well be selling outside of DHSC but unless its a stonking contract they wont RNS it as a small sales volume announcement will cause an unprecedented tidal wave of wailing amongst the shareholders.
Time to Sh*t or get off the pot but whatever you do make sure you dont soil your undergarments.
But forgive me !!!!! Director sales always delivered
Not fair to mention , shabby delivered , unprofessional RNS ,s
Rocquet, before I go on my walk: The company informed us of 2m tests a week in April in Feb's tweet. Nothing they have said since then specifically states this isn't the currently happening. BUT they have said there is no UK Gov antign test to produce as yet (RNS 15.03.21). So, are we producing 2m tests and of what for whom? Is it the ABC one? If we aren't producing, then that is a material change and should be worthy of an RNS. If we are producing, again that is a contract of note and should also be subject to an RNS. Even subject to an NDA wouldn't preclude them from a statement that capacity is being used. I've been invested in ODX for a year now, and I always had April 2021 as D-Day. I never expected to have a week or so left of it and no update however. Thanks.
News at Xmas
Gold standard test !
Colin gave the milestones for all 3 examples during the presentations the most famous being the TT as a Xmas present or early NY.
MRHA !
Jesus ! Said so so many times , CK couldn’t deliver sand on a beach , he has failed ,failed ,failed constantly
"The next rns will set this sp on fire and most long term holders

Hold or top up

Lots of us have been holding for many months and see this statement almost daily. I have lost faith is topping up to watch it go don again. I am one of the lucky ones with an average of 62p so can still afford to hold and not be too worried even though more than half of my holding is in at over 80p.
Still holding and not selling until August but a bit of encouragement from ODX would be welcome.
"What do you want ODX to tell you?"
Perhaps where the 2M tests a week in April they will deliver are going to ?

I think it's perfectly acceptable for people to be asking questions of Omega. They have slipped. Take this tweet on 17.02.21: https://twitter.com/OmegaDiagnostic/status/1362040022015348738
The company has managed our expectations but hasn't confirmed if they are being met. It's perfectly reasonable for shareholders to question them about this. The company has a legal duty toward share holders and if this 2 million fig hasn't started yet, in total opposite to what they have tweeted in Feb, we should know why. A lot of other companies in this boat, where news is expected, would be issuing an RNS update to inform share holders of these facts. The gap in comms they have created leads to the rise in the like of Big Jock, who I think did more harm than good frankly. Off now for a walk! Cheers
"The examples (3) were stated in the e mail of 20th April."
I'm sorry but where is the evidence these were deadlines set by the company that weren't met? I see a lot of assertions these boards about what has or hasn't been said which doesn't actually, when looked at, stack up....
The examples (3) were stated in the e mail of 20th April.
"Thank you Paul. However, the main point of my e mail (and I suspect the concern of many) is why there has been consistent failures to achieve milestones communicated by the company or at very least to provide updates as to why these milestones have not been met?"
What "consistent failures to achieve milestones" do you believe there have been? Care to provide some examples (if these are 'consistent failures' then this shouldn't be an issue)?
So basically ODX have no new news and have basically been at a stand still lately.
I will assume its purely down to installing manufacturing equipment , trying to recruit staff and waiting for the exact test to be produced.
I work in manufacturing so i understand the delays.
As a company they tick alot of boxes for growth and progression so i guess ill be happy enough to wait this year for further feedback and then ill access the situation.
Good Afternoon,
Just sharing an email exchange with Walbrook and fully appreciate that some may not agree with position but I have a significant investment and while I believe there is great potential here I am very disappointed about the minimal/inconsistent communications
Question 20/04/21 16:47
“Obviously it is disappointing over the last few weeks to experience a continuing decline in SP and I am sure many investors are concerned there has been little news from Omega. I appreciate that their position might be that there is no new news to currently give and as soon as they will have, they will immediately release an RNS. However, I respectfully suggest that investors will feel that news about “Food Detective” was released significantly after ODX indicated (albeit this was due to CV19 in China), MHRA ABC Home use approval still o/s versus an indicative approval in August (again appreciate this was/and is not in ODX’s control) and TT of Mologic Antigen December/January. So whereas 2 of the 3 mentioned are outside ODX’s control surely it is a better policy to be proactive on Comms and each month provide an update on all o/s projects/initiatives even if it is, “no change” to the previous period, as it would at least serve to give reassurance to shareholders that all is well just taking a little longer because of xyz and thus avoid investors having to pester yourself for information?
Sorry I know you will probably be receiving many comms from investors but just think more regular communications from ODX will make life easier for all.”
Response 21/04/21
“It’s just simply not possible to provide the regular update on progress that you suggest, unless they have something to say. RNS announcements are not designed to provide a running monthly commentary on what has or hasn’t progressed. RNS announcements are issued when something of materiality has happened and if there is no new news to update on the Company isn’t going to put out an RNS saying that there is nothing new to update on. Obviously if there is something significant to say they will say it and I can assure you that we are encouraging the Company to provide updates when they can – we don’t invent the news nor can force it to happen. We can only communicate when the Company has something to say. Suffice to say I’ll happily pass on your feedback to the Company.”
My Reply 21/04/21
“Thank you Paul. However, the main point of my e mail (and I suspect the concern of many) is why there has been consistent failures to achieve milestones communicated by the company or at very least to provide updates as to why these milestones have not been met? Everyone can accept (yes we might moan about it) projects can be delayed (in my experience they often are) but to be silent (and see a 30% drop in SP in recent weeks), in my experience is not a good policy and I respectfully disagree that providing updates when milestones have failed is most definitely worthy of news and an RNS.”
