@Gman753: why would they buy on the open market when we keep giving them at a knocked down rate as options
The only positive i can see from the Share Options issue is that Colin has not sold any. i would personally like to see the BOD buy more shares.
@Gman753: Don't get me wrong, if individuals are awarded options no one can blame them for making the most if them, the issue i have is that ODX seem to be expecting its investors to me paying a large proportion of directors remuneration rather than paying them out of generated revenue,
This approach is all well and good if the company supports the shareprice, but ODX investors are seeing the double wammi of the share price collapsing and option after option being issued,
Sorry Computer but Options can also be time bound and what would you do if you had Options that vested?
@Gman753: Usually with share options you would expect these to be a reward for the success performance of the company, ODX seem to be in the mentality that the directors deserve a reward from its investors for actually achieving nothing, keep in mind that any share dilution is affecting the value of your holding, since april 2020 Omega have extracted nearly £16m from the market, and are yet to justify that investment.
By way of illustration of ODX activity in the Options, look at the following page
https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/05017761/filing-history?page=1
Each one of those allotments has an impact on investor value, and for what?
Shelley have you ever had a job that warranted Share Options as part of your overall remuneration package?
Honestly nobody knows ...
news could be tomorrow, next week, next month, by Xmas ...
A hug would be nice but what I would really like is all those people that did huge amount of due diligence, love this company and its performance to just let me know how long is it worth waiting for? If you say 6 months, I will stay? If you say next week news is coming, thats better
But I would love some honesty and hear from all those pumpers that no one really knows since the company is poorly managed and has no marketing but we just hope that something happens soon that allows the price to recover ... some honesty rather than abuse would be ok with me
Wow mega load of shares. Good luck and I hope this rises soon as its painfully slow at present
MrIndia just ignore these ignorance rampers, odx is a good company but the problem is with the management, CEO is incompetent, PR is zero so we as investors relying on news and tweeter to find out whats going on, its a shame to reach this stage, hopefully will have an update soon, i am like you holding 320k shares with avg about 75p.
Stop patronising
MrIndia everybody is frustrated ... have 70 avg. 30k down (paper loss for now)
u either trust the company and hold on to your shares, once we get sales this will be over 100p in no time.
OR
sell and leave in piece ...
BUT complaining on a public board? what did u expect? shall we send u some flowers? or u need a hug?
i bought in multiple tranches expecting the price to go over 150p .... so my average is 60p now.
I bet u dont even own a stock but just sit on here all day insulting people for kicks
better than your robotic pumping or ignoring how crap this company is actually performing
hmm ... cant give any valid opinion on why the share price is so low so accuses me of whinging ... Bin him
oh no ... MrIdiot is back, what a liar ....
if u bought 18 months ago than u must be up. price was <20.
Oh... is MrIndia back doing his 'concerned long term investor' schtick again? Best thing to do is bin him...
With regards to expected news, and new timelines, this is the feedback i have from Walbrook today
"Omega provided an updated timeline in their recent results statement and said that they planned to submit data from the study to their Notified Body by the end of July and explore how they can fast track approval – they have not provided any specific new guidance on when that approval would come through. They have begun that submission process and are running the review and evaluation process in parallel to ensure timelines remain on track. When approval is forthcoming ODX will update shareholders."
When asked if they have sold a single own brand test yet:
"Omega would need to provide any update on product sales via RNS rather than to shareholders via email, if there’s an update on the commercialisation of the VISITECT antigen test beyond what has already been stated in the results RNS and presentation then they will provide that. As you will have seen the company has said that they are seeking self-test approval, are seeking FDA EUA status to be able to sell in the US and expect demand in Q2."
"Jag Grewal will focus on Health & Nutrition and John Bannister, Global Health Business Development Director, and his team are responsible for the commercial roll-out of COVID-19 related products."
So its John Bannister (@banny204) that has taken over the poison chalice, of looking to remove the "Couldn't sell a test in a pandemic" reputation from Omega. Lets hope he's more switched on than his predecessor
people need to remember that it's frowned upon around here to be annoyed at the current SP, you have to be excited by it, and view it as an opportunity to top up (the same as when it was 55p, 60p, 65p, 70p, and 75p)
I do agree there is no point stamping feet and demanding that the CEO resigns, that's just silly, but I think people are allowed to voice a concern in a share that has halved in price, in the last 12 months or so, when this time last year it was intimated that big things were expected.
As ever though, this is an AIM share, so only an idiot would invest money that they can't afford to lose
Some might say manipulation
Appreciate that sir. I do agree Covid stocks are being hit bad ... I don't understand why except both GDR and ODX are good companies with great products but lack of updates and no sales has hit them both. It's very confusing why they are not announcing anything significant and leaving it to the traders to manipulate the stock price.
I am really frustrated. I am not a shorter. I invested some time back and should have been 200% up by now but that is life.
I was honestly trying to work out when do we expect these announcements as am bored of twitters every day saying something is coming and pictures of trucks or teslas
Sorry MrIndia, you're right.. that was rude.
We should have been far more polite to your question.
" At what point do we cut our losses if no news or do we just keep holding for months or years? "
None, as I'm sure you are aware, can answer that as that would be financial advise.
Everyone has their own appetite for risk.
Some are more researched than others.
So I guessed it must have been a rhetorical question, and that's why I didn't give it the credit it deserved.
The decision is yours.
Good luck.
I WONT SELL !!!! SO STOP WASTING YOUR ENERGY
I love the list of EXPECTED news ... we have been waiting for 12 months for that. I dont want others to sell but its very frustrating seeing the share price crumble on no news
cant answer the question so become abusive ... brain of a 2 year old nappy man
Tighten that nappy Mr. India with your 60p average
How many numpties are there on this bb?
