Hi all,
I am also slightly confused as normal. I understand what the Elisa test is, I wonder how the government will use the information? Test and release?
If you arrive in the UK get tested and then depending on the result get released. I always thought this would be an antigen test to prove a negative result.
This test flips that on it head? It seems to me a positive antibody test will allow a traveller out into the public?
Have I not understood again?
Many thanks
BB
It's ok saying i didn't do my research, i did some but clearly not to the point some of you did. I have factored in antigen, antibody LFT's plus food intolerance & HIV.
My sincere apologies I missed this lab elisa thing but rather than take the p ss. How about you help me understand it.
I'm a big advocate of omega and it sounds like things are a whole lot better than i thought so educate me rather than try and talk me down. Were on the same side!
What is this whole elisa deal, will doing these tests compete with our lfts if not why not and does manufacturing them come out of our manufacturing capacity and what kind of revenues can we expect per test and/or numbers of tests per year? It sounds like i may need to up my predicted share price.
Help me understand that's all I'm asking
Alderman , sorry you don’t understand antibody testing , it’s history or omega and mologic
"Why are they providing a lab service when they make antibody LFT tests. Isn't that a kind of conflict of business? Not sure I understand the implications of this RNS, it seems to go against what i believed to be the case in that odx main selling point was the ability to make rapid accurate tests?"
Sounds like someone didn't do their research...
That is excellent news. Dots coming together...
I did suggest that this sort of testing would be a possibility. Littleport/Ely are within easy reach of three international airports (Stansted, Luton and Norwich). ODX could also offer service for several large international ports as well.
