well, not even the most rose tinted can argue against it, its FACT !!
however lets hope that changes very very soon now !!
Billions pounds up for grabs and this lot havent even got a taste of the crumbs.
12 months since CK put up the graph and still barely sold a test.
Pathetic.
"and the slow regulator engagement means they have given up any early to market advantage they had."
This has to be a concern. We are now in the 2nd half of October which was supposed to be the new Sept/august......April etc.
If Colin "can't sell a test" does not get a move on then somebody else will grab the contract.
We desperately need that contract because ODX have no proven sales experience of anything anywhere.
We had a whole hour, between 12 and 1pm, without a single trade
Has everyone given up?
Asher7 : as I said they Chinese think he’s wonderful for a reason !!!
Asher7: what’s up ? Do you not like it when everyone not wearing rose tinted glasses, ?
20 months = no orders
20 months = communication bordering on pathetic
20 months = the CEO has missed his own stated deliverables.
20 months = Appointed a PR company as bad at comms as him .
Crying like a big girls blouse sounds more like CK actually ,other companies made and won contracts ,but none of this SP shambles is his fault ! Get real .
Thinkin,
he’s an idea why don’t you sell up Because you are doing everyone’s dead in.
Ps the rest of us Are not here moaning and crying like a big girls blouse !
Asher7: here’s a crazy idea ! Rather than doing the maths ,or the rest of us guessing as to what’s going on ,why not get the CEO to get of his 210k ar!e and communicate to the bulk of investors and the market ,that he has choose to ignore and hide from .
Twat you really need to get in the real world ?
My cousin owns a nursery and will use over 2500 in a 12 month period and there is over 3000 nurseries in the uk .
Schools
Hospitals
Travel Some need to get the calculator out Because Odx will be a cash cow imho .
Do the maths we will sell every one of our capacity end of Bring it on gla lth’s
Three £25,000 buys in the last hour, something is starting to stir
It looks like they only count LFD results that are reported.
I take 3 tests a week and have never reported any; they've all been negative. I'm guessing I'm not the only one that doesn't report negative tests. Is there a resource that says how many get sent out? Probably be more useful.
..and it begins.Day after day..Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
@Wadogra: It's you that are full of it, If you consider the DHSC lemon of a contract then the official figures are there in black and white, and like it or not they explain why the DHSC are in no urgent rush to order any tests from ODX.
Yes there is likely to be an increase in demand from the independent/private route, but ODX have yet failed to secure any sales or even a distribution agreement in that channel, and the slow regulator engagement means they have given up any early to market advantage they had.
All care home staff, NHS staff, etc. have to self-test twice a week. Many customer facing roles have this requirement. Even lorry drivers need to.
Tag team returns with their half-truths..roll up,roll up,let the CompuTwat games begin.
TTrader. That's because you "personally do not know anyone".
"This one says 6 million :"
In May , we are now in October !
The latest published figures are :
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1025529/rapid-testing-211014.pdf
If you look at the graph (Page 3)probably the average between may and now is between 4 and 5 millions, but the trend is pretty flat
Fair play to you Senza.
"if only 1/4 population test themselves 2 times a week, 325 million is about a 10-week buffer. "
I personally don't know anyone that is habitually testing themselves regularly, nevermind twice a week.
You're full of it Computer. These figures only include reported Test n Trace results. They don't include, for instance, private sector staff testing and millions of unreported self-testing in the domestic setting. Yoy know this but that doesn't fit with your game playing...found out again.
Plus foreign travel:
https://www.airportwatch.org.uk/recent-airport-figures/
Another 60 million per year, just on air-travel (for the UK)
This one says 6 million :
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/weekly-statistics-for-nhs-test-and-trace-england-6-may-to-12-may-2021/weekly-statistics-for-rapid-asymptomatic-testing-in-england-6-may-to-12-may-2021
It also says the 4 million coincided with half term. And this is all before we switch PCR over to LFD in 4 days.
Does anyone know what the average testing rate actually is? (I self-test 3 times a week.)
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1025529/rapid-testing-211014.pdf
"In the week beginning 19 August, over 3.2 million LFD tests were conducted and since then the
number of LFD tests conducted rose sharply to just over 6.0 million LFD tests in the week
ending 8 September following the start of the academic year in schools and colleges. Following
that peak, the number of LFD tests conducted and reported decreased sharply.
The number of LFD tests conducted has decreased to 4,041,261 in the latest week (30
September to 6 October) compared with 4,306,457 tests in the previous week. Of the LFD tests
conducted and reported in the latest week, 54,823 tests returned a positive result, an increase
from 53,441 tests in the previous week (23 to 29 September), and in the same period 3,982,728
tests returned a negative result, a decrease from 4,249,120 tests in the previous week. Since
LFD tests were introduced, 959,477 positive results and 164,272,072 negative results have
been reported. "
So less than 4M per week with a stock pile of 325M = Nearly 2 years supply !!!!
Rough guess:
If only 1/4 population test themselves 2 times a week, 325 million is about a 10-week buffer.
67,000,000 / 4 * 2 = 33,500,000 weekly tests.
325m stockpile / 33.5m weekly tests = 9.7 weeks stock. ‘ish.
Does anyone know what the average testing rate actually is? (I self-test 3 times a week.)
