Bought a few more this morning. Share price may continue to be unimpressive for another couple of weeks but i am happy to keep building my position for the end of the year and beyond. At some point it will turn and momentum should be strong with news flow and catching up of value of what's already been delivered.
Had a busy weekend chatting with some friends that have no idea who any of the covid stocks are and no interested in investing. Interesting hearing views on Covid from people who aren't financially invested in the prevalence of the disease. Their view was all pretty negative, expecting to be living this way for some time, and the elder ones in fear of catching the virus. They all largely would put health over wealth, but appreciate that we can't hide away from the virus forever. As human beings, we don't have the discipline to beat this virus preventing reinfection, so we need science to help us. People are starting to realise that this is a long haul change and not something the roll over of a season or a calendar year is going to fix.
Personally my optimism for getting life back to normal is decreasing by the day. Im certain we will go through another full lockdown period at some point and that sadly more and more people will pay the ultimate price. Being out and about seeing one way systems in shops, face shields, hand sanitiser stations, crowdless sports events, and many industries still facing a long road back. It is so far from the modern society we have become accustomed to.
I think even with the greatest of belief in ODX we can only underestimate the importance of testing.
We are involved in the leading antibody test, and as soon as the scientist are comfortable and the governments are ready to confirm that immunity means safety even to some extent, we will be ready to supply.
We are already seeing with Mologic that globalisation is in our reach in terms of the markets we can operate in. Our potential sales i only see as multiples of manufacturing capacity even after the huge expansion. Omega have the distribution networks and access to customers base to make the most of the opportunity that the Mologic tests presents.
