"Still living up to the name though - or at least half of it"
Cher? Probably a few of us singing 'If I could turn back time' after the Tesla tweet.
<< Ohhh, I'm an entirely new person now, that's a new one ! >>
Still living up to the name though - or at least half of it.
Dave77, fair enough. Your money.
Certainly there seems to be a spate of challenges in the macro environment at the moment. Will China allow Evergrand to fail for the sake of £300 billion? Doesn't look like it with their early moves
Here at home we have the C02 shortage (resolved already) and a labour shortage leading to all kinds of shortages and inflation.
Reasons to get spooked? Or reasons to buy in days or weeks before massive transformational news for this firm? One way we tackle labour shortages is by getting more of the workforce working. Reducing sickness. One way we get growth going is by getting our big industry back on track. The airline industry will be getting back to speed this year. With ODX lateral flow tests by the looks of it. I am buying this week. Again.
"Defo a new assignee. Far too obvious. "
Ohhh, I'm an entirely new person now, that's a new one !
I just sold my 1.3 million as well :-)
I am Spartacus hahaha
Now, off to get a couple of Tesla with my losses.
Of course I do Dave, it's a song that Will Young sang when he won Pop Idol in 2002.... oh wait that was Evergreen....
DOM, token payment tomorrow was already suggested, im guessing its been agreed.
China is not going to bail it. They put 14 billion into the banking system, tricky .
Senza, Lehmans moment effects all. Look only my opinion which is not why I posted.
Bighero is right. Looks like the job holder for thatchering has changed. Whole style different and even answered the "what do you hold / what is your target" questions, albeit with bs of course. Defo a new assignee. Far too obvious. Could be a job student covering the holidays.
Even if – IF - the wheels did fall off Evergrandie (I don’t think they will) surely a manufacturer of LFTs, in a pandemic, will be ok. It's not like ODX are going to be in their supply chain. If ODX goes wrong, it won’t be because of Evergrandie - imo.
Dave77. May I say you are an absolute gent owning up to this. The drop had me scared I admit
I really wish you well. Do some looking into aslr. Seller out as of yesterday. Should bounce to 60p quickly is the gossip. I am just trying to help you as you have eased my mind somewhat. But dyor of course and really good luck
You're a bit out of date Dave77? Analyst just tweeted in Guardian Live that China have moved- £19 billion to Evergrand to support liquidity. Evergrand shares bouncing like a rubber ball. It shouldn't create much contagion outside China anyway should it?
And in the meanwhile we need lateral flow tests to get our travel industry flying again. Otherwise there really will be contagion! If that whole industry goes down. Oh dear. So it won't. People are lining up to go on holiday at half term. Shapps says the 'private sector ' is working hard to get the tests ready. I will be tweet about it later.
Senza, Thank you, i will most likely be wrong, but my thinking is if that report said it WOULD be a Lemans china moment what would everyone do? So unless GDR get news within the next few days why should I risk further decay to my ever decaying funds this year. I only reasoned this again, to be transparent. DSAF filtered, I actually prefer Twatcher to you!
It looks like a deal has been struck Dave
buy back in quick !!
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10016313/Evergrande-strikes-deal-calm-fears-firm-default-sparking-global-financial-chaos.html
But Evergrandie own assets.
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/09/22/heres-why-the-evergrande-crisis-is-not-chinas-lehman-moment.html
We'll see, I guess. Not sure how that would effect an LFT manufacturer, but what do I know. Good luck Mr77.
Next year Rodders, do you even know what Evergrandie is? Debit payments and the effect on the market? Thur and Monday.
Sillles, not at 1p average of 72p.
'Never sold due to ODX, well not completly, its is frustrating, sold due to Evergrande and the effect that may have on the market tomorrow and Monday coming.'
What about Friday Dave? Will we be ok then?
Spartacus springs to mind Blue finish hopefully
I’ve also sold my 1.3m holding as I’m worried about who’s gonna win the 13.15 at Goodwood today
I also counted up the 50k chunks and claimed I sold my 1.3m holding.. how odd!
must be near time for one last last last LAST topup
I just sold mine to BigJock for £1 a share. £2 incoming according to him but i'm not greedy!
Fact is most in small AIM listed stocks have been on a horrendous run. That's AIM stocks for you. ODX has been a nightmare for holders this year & we were told pre last Xmas that that Xmas would be good for share holders. These people talk ****e don't they?
Never sold due to ODX, well not completly, its is frustrating, sold due to Evergrande and the effect that may have on the market tomorrow and Monday coming.
Man I've been on a horrendous run since April. Maybe with the luck I am carrying you can not get a rise.
Yes, thought it best to let the board know, so the drop could be understood, instead of the trolls jumping on it. Good luck, Ill keep watching.
good u "sold", now u dont have to be here anymore. good bye
@ dave
I've done the same mate. Sold 50% of my holdings as I'm fed up with the blackout news feed. Mushroom life.
