Basically as a company you have to be ready to produce, hundred of thousands, millions of test within an instance with approval and contract from the government. If you don't have your production capacity to the maximum, how will you keep up with the demand.
Only ODX is capable of doing this, that is why I don't ever want to be out of this share, news could drop any second.
Other companies haven't even finished their testing and they are not even ready with production.
ODX is definitely ahead of the games by miles
One thing is for sure, some sellers yesterday will be scrambling to buy back in today. Everything is nearly ready now for lift off...the next push up will see us over £1 easy
The tweet highlights demand, incredible demand. We have secured equipment from them, had it delivered & assembled. Not as simple as it sounds in these crazy times.
Let's not forget that ODX are also developing an Antigen test.
They also have many other tests.
They are not a one trick pony.
Ok but the 500million twitter post is not related to odx as biodot only supply to odx not the other way right?
biodot manufacture the equipment being used by Omega. Check out Omega's latest tweet showing the machines that were acquired recently to increase production capacity : https://twitter.com/OmegaDiagnostic/with_replies
Odx purchase machines from biodot
Can someone explain the biodot and odx partnership if any?
Don’t see that as false ramp just testemant to large scale testing by one of our suppliers !
False ramp.
Explicitly states antigen and the Reuters link references USA rapid covid test.
HOWEVER they have posted 7 hours ago that they are proud to be working with ODX. Now that is an endorsement.
Tony Lemmo, chief executive of BioDot Inc, which makes dispensers of chemicals used in the tests, says he has recently received orders that would translate into some 500 million tests in the coming months.
This is from BioDot twitter feed.
