30 days from February 11th is a Saturday. Are you going to work on a Saturday then? Is anyone? Lol. I used to do it for a living too. Except my job was to advise government and local government on ensuring their procedures were workable, efficient and lined up properly with their systems which they don't always achieve.
The point is for us as investors it's coming very soon. That's what matters. It might not be exactly 30 days. But they will be aiming for that.
"GAD have a contract awarded today for £3.1m for reimbursement of costs, similar to surescreen, presumably this is the kind of contract we are expecting next week?"
It's a repeat publication of the Contract Award Notice that was published on the 'Find a Tender Service' on 7 January

"Regulator, the reason it's working days for contracts is to ensure deadlines for official business don't fall on a weekend. But let's pretend you are right. Lol."
I do this stuff for a living... I can quote chapter and verse.
The 'Publication of Central Government Tenders and Contracts' guidance (see paragraph 9.1 and the footnote thereto) and the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (see Regulation 50(1)) are clear that it's calendar days.
Regulator, the reason it's working days for contracts is to ensure deadlines for official business don't fall on a weekend. But let's pretend you are right. Lol.

This is not the weekend to be out of ODX, or have a smaller holding that you would wish, in my opinion.

"In my experience unless specified most public regulations mean working days."
Actually, it's the other way round. The default is calendar days unless it is specifically noted as working days (in which case you would normally expect 'working days' to be defined within the relevant legislation and/or contract). This is because (as actually happens with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015) both interpretations can be used in separate parts of the same legislation/contract.
Good point Redboy. I suspect we will be inundated with TR1s once the DHSC contract lands properly.
You are having a busy day so far. Did you manage to get your partners flat sorted out?
It would be good if that's the case Regulator. Even better. In my experience unless specified most public regulations mean working days. As we have both noted we hope they will follow the law. But so far that hasn't been a given with this government. I think they will do their best given the judicial review on the matter. Cross fingers. That well known investment technique. Lol.
I remembered something else!
7. The 'Ready, steady, test' campaign is meant to be starting anytime. Maybe in time for schools going back on Monday?
"2. Contract details with the DHSC including size of the award and pricing policy. Due between 11th and 25th March, allowing for 20 or 30 working days of the contract agreement being published. From ODX RNS notifying the market February 11th and regulations requirements for full disclosure."
Just to be a little pedantic, it is 20 or 30 calendar days - not 20 or 30 working days.
Thanks Tricky,
I know its been said before but I'd like to think we may see a TR1 for an I.I. soon
