the reason why surescreen hasn't been adopted may simply be down to surescreen not being prepared to allow others to make their test. They own the Ip, they are a manufacturer. They know they are in a position of advantage as their test was passed, and as the only uk test passed, if the gov wanted to be seen to use uk suppliers, it had to be them.
It’s obvious that Omega massaging the share price by tweets = rubbish company. Idle tweets don’t remove the downtrend.

Some people may find it helpful to understand with a high PCR Ct count actually means...

Also worth noting "Ct values cannot be directly compared between assays of different types due to variation in the sensitivity (limit of detection), chemistry of reagents, gene targets, cycle parameters, analytical interpretive methods, sample preparation and extraction techniques"
Hang on - I was under the impression ODX were in the position to be able to offer tests to any country that wants them should the government not be interested? And potentially at a greater price - what’s this ODX will be finished stuff?
Twatcher to my mind commercial discussions encompass the profit making aspect not just the technical discussions. I can see ODX would need to engage in technical discussions but maybe I am reading to much into the word commercial in the phrase 'commercial discussions'.
"... Why are the gov facilating commercial discussions between ODX and other parties..."
Because there is still a process to go thru that ODX has to learn how to make whoever's test it is. That requires engagement with the company that developed the test. It is also clearly the case that not every LFT is the same, so ODX needs to know they have the techincal wherewithall and also the exact correct equipment, to allow the test to be transferred and then manufactured.
It does say a "select number", that number could be 1.
I kind of agree with your comments Twatcher. However, what puzes me is if the deal is the gov choose a test, license it to ODX and ODX produce it. Why are the gov facilating commercial discussions between ODX and other parties...
I never thought my average of 58 would ever take a battering again from this share and to see that go really grated after watching us go all the way over £1+ and not selling. Finally a bit of a comforting response from ODX to calm the nerves although a couple more well put together comms could help. Don’t ramp us into high heaven but giving a balanced relaxed view on things would go a long way. Nice tweet which will hopefully stop the rot. Whilst other company’s have outlined delays etc. ODX seems to be keeping with its current narrative. Let’s see.
"DHSCgovuk has facilitated discussions between ourselves and a select number of lateral flow test developers"
Read from that
1) Neither UK gov nor ODX thinks the mologic test is ever going to pass the required validation.
2) ODX are just at the chatting stage.
3) It was 9th June 2020 that ODX came to terms with Mologic that they would transfer the antigen test to ODX.
4) The actual TT process began in Nov 2020 and was completed end of April 2021.
Based on the above, I'll let everyone come to their own conclusion as to how long it might be before ODX is in position to supply a test to the Gov, if it still needs one.
