Gov is waiting to buy millions and millions of this kit. This is the major advantage with ODX. It already has a BIG contract. Marketing will be easy. With the quality they aim to achieve, the world will demand this product and getting numbers will not be a problem, with experts manufacturers around. Until we get design freeze news, i think we will go back to the 65 - 70p days and when news lands, i would be deramping if i said £2. I plan to top up IF it drops. DYOR
It's times like this I want to break my own rules and top up. I hate being sensible. Grrrr.
My target is ambitious, so I guess one should be greatful.
The Abington site says they will run approval in tandem with design. They are indicating very close to having it perfected imv based on what they have tested so far.
I suspect this rns is to enable them to start talking about this more openly. Questions coming up in daily briefings perhaps can be a bit more transparent now.
This is not a delay rns, its everything is on time RNS. We know they are already in the process of scaling up through expansion and hiring.
No steven of course we don’t but we do know that this project is being done at extraordinary speed and any other possible competitor would be facing the same challenges too.
I think it laughable that some are looking at the end of June or even July as if it were a lifetime away. Such people with zero forward vision and even a modicum patience are doomed to never be truly successful. Patience is the key word in successful investing.
It means, it could be tomorrow 4th of June or on 30th of June. So within 4 weeks a design freeze will be achieved.
Does anyone know long its takes to : scale up, verification and validation activities, prior to the test being made available for manufacture.
1 week, 1 month , 3 months, ?
Agreed - I assume the RNS was in response to previous message being a June timescale which clearly has slipped a little but reading between the lines, looks like that is due to a change in scope of the app.
Since the government on the vaccine had pre-ordered and productionised it in anticipation of completion and sign off, I suspect it may be similar case here, but that's just my assumption.
Where there is ambiguity in an RNS I am amazed at the differing interpretations of timescale. Several references to a few weeks for design freeze. The RNS states;
"We expect to reach design freeze in June, which will allow us to move onto scale up, verification and validation activities, prior to the test being made available for manufacture". No mention of weeks, or days, just June!! ...and the current month is???!!! Sorry, just being pedantic.
