Poor quality???, trickymatters posted a link to in-depth report that said it was highly accurate, until realising it was the innova test it was referring to, and never mentioned this report ever again, talk about being caught out as a ramper !
I'm using mine for asymptomatic testing as intended
Is missing out on a poor quality Innova test classed as deprivation? hmmmm?
I'm collecting them as antiques..
I am sure it has not crossed most peoples mind to order tests simply to through them away. Very sad if some people are doing this.
I got some today as well, manufactured 08/02
Anyone ordering tests to throw away are being really irresponsible. Innova tests is the only test available so potentially depriving people of a test.
But hey if you think it somehow makes you richer (it doesn't) don't worry about people with a potentially deadly virus.
Antibody tests use blood, antigen is nasal/mouth swab.
straight to the recycle bin
Me and partner both tested negative. I can see that these tests are going to be a bit of a faff to get right. Tonsils not easy to get to without touching teeth (x4 each side), cheeks, gums or tongue. Up the nose part (x1 nostril x10 circles) again is difficult as it is uncomfortable. Then put the swab into a tube containing the test solution for 15 secs. Squeeze solution off swab using the flexible tube. Add two drops of sample solution to lft and wait 30mins. So the accuracy of this test is questionable.
The AbC-19TM test uses a lancet to draw blood, which will be the only uncomfortable part. Also less chance of cross contamination. Simply get the specified amount of blood with collector and put it on the lft then add the solution and wait 20mins. Somewhat simpler me thinks. GLA
tecbadger, got mine, kids have got theirs and wife’s on order.
Good news, all negative (probably!) and using up the Chinese stock.
I posted this in the other place. 'Have picked up some lfts from the local covid test centre. Made in China (is this insult to injury ?) at Xiamen Biotime Biotechnology. 7 tests per box. Questionable S&S this product, we continue to wait for something better.' GLA
Got my kits through the post. Innova. Get the stockpile down!
