Twatcher : "The stats show you are 6 times more likely to end up in hospital"...depends what 'stats you are referencing i suppose.."but don't let the facts get in the way". Sometimes those who purport to know it all...don't.
Who else would invest in a company and consistently post against his investment

"You're not your (now who is stupid)?"
Even though he made a spelling mistake, I believe the board consensus is that GaryB72 is still the stupid one, by far ;-)
way too stupid...
You're not your (now who is stupid)?
Gary you know nothing your way to stupid
Yep, definitely getting under your skin :-)
Washington post - 2 days ago
‘More than 15 studies have demonstrated the power of immunity acquired by previously having the virus. A 700,000-person study from Israel two weeks ago found that those who had experienced prior infections were 27 times less likely to get a second symptomatic covid infection than those who were vaccinated’

Antibody tests? Have a roll to play as well
"The booster will most likely make no difference "
Ah Sledgey121, your expertise on this subject matter knows no end. Reminds me of those words your type here which you now hear every virologist repeating:-
"The amount of antibodies makes no difference to how a person copes with covid infection. "

"I can't see it getting big volume acceptance from Jo public, especially as a large number double jab people are in hospital."
The stats show you are 6 times more likely to end up in hospital from covid if you are unvaccinated than vaccinated, but don't let the facts get in the way of a good unfounded baseless rant.
TWatcher
"So you'd prefer people to know they have it and possible get seriously ill from it, than get the booster ? Maybe things would have been worse for you except for that experimental drug you got stuck in you."
The experimental vaccine actually made me very ill, so I said no to the second jab, my wife had both jabs and makes her own mind up what she does with her body. My sister and her husband didn't have any jab, all of us were as ill as each other, whether single, double or no jabs, this was most likely the Delta.
The booster will most likely make no difference and I can't see it getting big volume acceptance from Jo public, especially as a large number double jab people are in hospital.
You even posted my original comment, which shows your comment makes no sense, same as all your other comments.
The one thing I do like is that you are taking the effort to look back on my old posts, this means I'm getting under your skin hahaha ;-)
Boosters when double jabbing isn't working is going to be a hard sell.
My daughters school’s yr 5/6 pupils attendance is suffering due to Covid infection’s.
This winter unfortunately is going to be very difficult for most So stay safe all.
Ps twat’s I hold other stock Bloe, Tils what other stock do you hold just wondering:-)
sledge - i agree that the booster will not be as popular.....especially if the majority will be mRNA based.
it is interesting that before the majority got jabbed it was all great...and afterwards the message seems to be proving how short a time it protects you. guess more money for big pharma
i agree with twatcher that you have to compare with % of population vaccinated....as the more that are vaccinated then the more cases in hospital of vaccinated relative to unvaccinated as their number in total population goes down
Seldgey121 has a very short memory.
From sledgey121 18th aug
"My first symptoms were 9 days ago and I'm still rough from this, my cough has now tuned into a chest infection. I caught it from a 10 minute car ride with my sister. My wife and son have also tested positive. I'm single jabbed and my wife is double jabbed but its hit us both as hard, presume this is the delta variant. Before I knew I had it, we went out for meals, stayed in a hotel, day tripped to Chester, swimming baths, steam room etc etc, there will be some additional casualties along the way from those trips out."
From sledgey121 today
"Definitely LFT over booster, all day.
I can't see the booster being very popular this winter. Surely nobody wants additional experimental drugs sticking in them."
So you'd prefer people to know they have it and possible get seriously ill from it, than get the booster ? Maybe things would have been worse for you except for that experimental drug you got stuck in you.
LFTs and booster are not mutually exclusive
Between 2,000 and 7,000 people a day could be hospitalised with Covid in England next month unless the government urgently implements a “basket of measures”.
Not sure these vaccines will be helping us come winter. Deaths and hospitalisations are already on the increase.
I can't see the booster being very popular this winter. Surely nobody wants additional experimental drugs sticking in them.
Definitely LFT over booster, all day.
More vaccinated people are dying of the delta variant of covid than unvaccinated people, according to a recent report from Public Health England.
Booster time or LFT time?
