JACKSDAD , THANKS MASSIVE IT WI LL BE CRAZY PRICE
Thanks jacksdad, maybe there was confusion on the question on the sky interview but that is really good to know they can sell direct or through a wholesaler once the UK gov are sorted..

Exactly as I said...commercial sales to follow...going to be massive
BOD exist for shareholder value. They are normally shareholders themselves. This Colin dude needs to come out in support of the company and say the share price is baffling. He can’t because the dozy twonk has told the world we aren’t worth more than 40p and confirmed at 90p we were way over valued. He’s HAS to go now.
Can sell but can't buy and they drop the price... This market is rotten, too many conflict of interests and dodgy dealings
Just imagine of the RNS said DF hadn't been met as the tests weren't accurate enough??
The RTC have done a great thing tbh.. just a shame the AIM sharks have turned ODX over like a kipper!
Hey Rameriz, how about you go and boil your head
So is the U.K. Gov going to sell them to all the Commonwealth before US
Newboy........
If only you had been warned
Nope, this is the biggest drop in my portfolio today, AIM is a fkn joke of a market..
you sure about that?!
I was joking, it's not going sub 45p
agreed, just cancelled mine as thinking it may go under that after placing shares drop. Invariably it always does. Look at AVCT. £2+ and now £1.10 with placing at £1.20. I've de-risked (halved) my stake here as cant see it moving north for some time until placing shares have embedded into the SP.
Jeez may as well cancel my subscription to the open offer, be able to buy on the open market at 40p at this rate..... What a massive anticlimax this DF has been...
why are you here tho? Duble D
Funny how certain posters all find an excuse for an underperforming sp.
200k tests a week is a small proportion of ODX planned capacity so could provide RTC if required. The other consortia members will also be supplying tests, not clear what numbers are. Once RTC satisfied rest will be sold around the world if all goes according to plan.
Yes all initial production will be earmarked for distribution through the consortium on behalf of the government....I agree. But once they have scaled up production as he suggests they can, then other markets open themselves up quickly. I am happy that this stage of development is underwritten by the government orders .
I hope you are right Jacksdad, I watched it twice and he said sales will be via UKGOV, no ifs or buts
It's a government supported consortium. It has been from day 1. What's the problem we have guaranteed demand beyond what can be produced. If the government are going to buy them and give them away, there is no private market in the UK? If it wasn't for the RTC we wouldn't be in the game.
It's the Gold standard test. There will be demand. But we have to make sure UK have their supply first. It's first and foremost about tackling a disease. If the government buy 50m for every one on the voting register to take one, what i struggle with is timing and repeat testing. Do you send 50m out on the same day? Probably not as it will take too long to make them. How do you survey a population when new cases are still ongoing every single day? I think the UK demand is going to be much higher than 50m. If it's the gold standard test they have to find a way of opening up other markets as well as meeting UK demand. There has to be more to come here and they have to secure more production capacity. But it cant be at the expense of producing more profitable tests for ODX. Today is just the first step. Remember what's to follow.

Government policy on what a result means
There is no reason to be disappointed it is "only" 200k tests per week, and no need to be disappointed the selling price is socially responsible. Realistically it's what was expected from day 1, and this alone has big upside for ODX. There is a premium for being involved in this. It puts ODX at the centre of the UK diagnostics industry.
Mologic deal alongside RTC puts Omega in an enviable place of covering lab and POC testing for both antibodies and antigen. Who else can say that, other than Mologic themselves?
This will be interesting!!
Not what he said...the priority is supplying the government with the kits they need and the price to the government is a sensitive issue. So we've got an investment underwritten by the government at a lower margin and the opportunity to sell the tests on the open market to the world at market price. It would be an absolute PR disaster to do it in any other order.
He had one job this month.. Design freeze by end of June... Job done no?
Maybe he had only just realised that, that's why he looked like a rabbit in the headlights....
Correct Newboy thats exactly what he said. Absolute shambles to say the least
