Agree, there’s always marginal error, fact! However, this is as good as it gets! Government approved!
Although the confidence interval was calculated based on a very small sample population but i am sure we can deduce and conclude that would replicate easily even if tested on a larger population
Maths and stats background, it’s an amazing achievement!
- Design Freeze Achieved
- Test meets the required performance characteristics and the production specifications of the assay have now been set
-The next stage will see the scale-up of processes in July in readiness for manufacture.
- Next Stage - Verification, validation, transfer the manufacturing protocols & Regulatory Approval
- Demonstrate the capability to meet demand
- To be completed by the end of August
- Initial Plan was 100k test per week but now doubling that to 200k (Based on Confidence and Demands)
- Omega has FLEXIBILITY in the utilisation of its overall manufacturing capacity so that more could be allocated to the UK-RTC if required. I.E UK-RTC isn't the only Food on the table here for Omega
- Test sensitivity of 100% (95% confidence interval 92.6% to 100%) and specificity of 98.4% (95% confidence interval 95.4% to 99.7%)
- If the population is assumed to have a 10% incidence of COVID19, the AbC-19 pilot batch test shows a 98.6% accuracy.
**Anyone with a background in Statistics will understand better and know achieving this level of Confidence Interval is bomb**
- Additional independent testing of positive and negative samples along with other analytical studies will allow CE marking. Work is continuing in parallel with the regulatory authorities to ensure approval of the test as quickly as possible.
- This is a major step forward in an extremely complex project that has been completed in a very short time period compared to a normal test development programme
This RNS Shows confidence and articulated plans. Hence i believe ODX will be strong/bullish in the very short near term. With those level of confidence interval, this is no doubt a gold standard test. The question of "IF" is clearly taken of and de-risked to a certain level (I wish i can say 100% risk erased).
In my opinion this will test £1 this week . There are clear indicators to support this price.
We have a time scale of end of August to expect 3-4 more news update
**Opinion NOT Advice**
Good Luck Holders .
