I did and I can say it's utter bullocks, as I said before I know for certain that there is no shortage of Ventilators in the UK, so to say they will be rationed is nonsense articles like that are crippling this nation .
You can’t say it’s utter *******s until it’s past. We are talking the next eight weeks and this guy believes it will happen? I have no idea, just sharing info so let’s see. What he is saying which I understand is just because infections are rising and deaths Aren’t doesn’t mean it will stay like this which is the case in most places.
" ventilators rationed " utter bullocks, scaremongering beyond belief. I know for a fact ventilators have been stock piled, get your facts right ffs , if we want BS we'll read the tabloids.
That is frightening... But makes total sense, they have been looking at US as a whole rather than state by state.. imagine if Europe data was treated as one data set...
This was off the other site and I think very good

The trillion dollar question. Why are COVID cases increasing while deaths are decreasing? The answer is simple. It's called Simpson's paradox and it's the result of incorrectly pooling data and arriving at a false conclusion.
Worth reading the whole piece
8/9 The truth is simple, and horrifying. We are about to have dozens of NYCs around the country. The next 8 weeks are going to brutal, no matter what we do. ICUs overflowing, ventilators rationed, hundreds of thousands of deaths.
It seems to take far longer than we think for the virus to build up the number of people that have it which then gets passed into the vulnerable.
Look at the USA, huge numbers now for sometime but deaths hasn’t changed. It take weeks and weeks for the spread to be wide enough to then get and pass to the vulnerable who then need treatment for hospitals to fill.
Many speak of it being here before Xmas, it didn’t start in the 15th jan and hit us by month end, it was building and building for weeks and weeks.
So no doubt we will relax, the difference this time is we can test and track where it is and how much, out in social distancing as it hit certain triggers and prevent a level that flows over into the vulnerable quicker.
The biggest change is households together, once children mix with grandparents, old people homes open and the vulnerable come closer to the rest then the risk increases.
So it will spread, increase and be monitored, the next three weeks in the USA may see icu units overwhelmed once that happens massive numbers can die as their just not been treated. Gla
Not much social distancing in London last night. Expect a resurgence of the first wave as we move into autumn and sadly the onslaught of the second wave.
Possibly but not certainly by any means. If most of us continue to social distance, fewer people will catch it and those who do will probably be younger and probably not getting close to older family members. Nonetheless, localised spikes are inevitable.
Wolverhampton and Dudley had a rise in new cases. In local paper talking of a lock down
There has to be a second wave. London Last night was packed. Packed with people, none of them two metres apart and they must all have got on the same trains home. Seriously it looked shoulder to shoulder in the photos I was sent.
Surely there has to be a second wave?
