I had £1.50 as my target price. I did think about selling some at 90p after missing the 110p top but felt it would push back up! How wrong I was. Still about 20% up and think that the low 30s will offer a lot of support. Just need some positive numbers to come out, otherwise it could be a long wait to get back over £1. Long term this company has a lot of promise and believe testing will yeild some good returns... at some point!
40bn just to manufacture tests, so at £8 a test 5bn tests, and a much more active diagnostics industry following COVID to continue with an increased infrastructure.

Why is that funny you muppet. There was realistic talk of £2 recently so if we were heading that way my £1.10 buy was not bad. Who was to know the outcome at this stage? At least I’m being honest, I need £1.50 to double my money. It might or might not happen. Either way I think we’re massively undervalued at the moment
I feel your pain. I’m gutted because my timing has been poor. I invested my two largest amounts at 75p 20 minutes before the speeding ticket, then 2-3 weeks ago at £1.10. I haven’t sold a single share. I’ve only ever topped up but at the wrong times! I’m looking at a massive loss right now and keeping everything crossed that it works out. I don’t think I’ll have to wait long to find out either way. My last chunk at £1.10 was £10k so I’m over half down on that chunk alone. Might nkt sound much but I have invested £25k in total which for me is massive and if I can only double that I’m a very happy man. Just seems quite far to go now as I need at least £1.50 but I’m still hoping. GLA
Oxford University and AstraZeneca had all trial participants swab themselves at home, allowing it to test whether the vaccine was preventing people from having transmissible coronavirus, or just preventing the virus from making them sick.
Neither Pfizer nor Moderna used methods in their vaccine trials that allow them say for sure if their shots prevent transmission.
Although its trials are still ongoing, early data released Monday by AstraZeneca suggests that the vaccine it developed with Oxford University might in fact prevent viral spread

If in doubt about the need for testing, then read this from Han****
https://mol.im/a/8981739
"The two-week quarantine period for international arrivals to England is to be cut to as little as five days next month, with travellers allowed to leave self-isolation after a negative Covid-19 test."
States paid-for test option. Would imagine most people would take this simple option to reduce their quarantine by more than half.

Not everyone is admitting it but I think most on this board know, with or without vaccines, testing is going to be massive for a number of years across the globe, antibody and antigen.
The big question for us is how much will be LFT, and how much will be Visitect and Abc-19?
Maybe we'll get an idea on 30th and through December.
Everyone loves a rollacoaster!
And we have permission for a cuddle at Christmas :)

Very fortunate that payday is 3 days before the 30th so I can hopefully get a few cheap shares in for Xmas. Just me who's brave enough to add here ? ;-)
Black Friday sale is well and truly on....
And may even top up should it go much lower,
These lows won’t be with us for long as frustrating as it is.
Nextyearrodders, very true re Costa haha ! We all just need to chill and wait till April, THE VERY LEAST!
There is no doubt that the majority of the market has had a boost from vaccine announcements and many think that covid is finished. This has impacted most perceived covid shares negatively as part of the market rerate. Covid will be with us for many years and next year will be no picnic. Testing both antigen and antibody will continue to be required in significant numbers in order to manage covid, consequently good covid shares will rerate upwards. I do think that PI's fingers will start to become stickier in the next week or so as the penny drops.
Exactly right, we can't always be jumping from the roof tops , singing along with the birds, sometimes you want to have a chat about what's going wrong, people agree and disagree that's what its all about.
Thanks Benny - I certainly have not been hit by any lightening bolts of knowledge cast from your direction on this board. Lol
As mentioned in the Walbrook reply. The UK RTC will ensure that their Close relationship ( although not contractual) will be reflected in their promotion of their rapid tests throughout the world. It's. Hard to believe that the success of the Oxford /AZ vaccine throughout the world will not highlight the UK consortiums antibody test and produce large orders from the billions of vaccines that have been pre ordered throughout the world......there's got to be mega $ oppurtunitys in just this relationship alone.....
As a person that has put my frustrations across much to some people's annoyance I understand a bit more now about how they spread the news, I think a few that have sold out might be thinking ohh dam it!!
Testing share are dropping as there is an air of this has been beaten now imo
Beynon!!!
Don’t be fooled into thinking they are not selling just because they haven’t announced big contracts yet.... https://screen4.org/product/visitect-rapid-finger-prick-antibody-test/
I think a few are going to be surprised at the trading update, Costa don’t RNS every coffee they sell!!
Benton not sure what's that has got to do with odx!!!
Call it vaccine good feeling and lockdowns reducing the stats. Whole country is in varying degrees of lockdown. Vaccines developed in 10 months are the golden bullet. The government couldn’t arrange e a p#ss up in a brewery - do you think they will pull this off as the world gets back to work........
Is there any other share that is involved in testing going upwards at a rate of knots??? I don't think so but stand to be corrected!! Of course. This keeps me positive. Dyor
Basically odx would like to give updates but their hands are tied by the Abingdon, the government and the MHRA. Too many other people to get approvals to release the info as it has a knock on effect. Remember odx released a RNS only when the first 1 million orders were announced by Lord whatever his name was.
It must also be frustrating for them not being able to tell us any positive news to help the SP but things are moving behind the scenes. Patience is the key and only a matter of time. Don't worry about the derampers as they like to kick people when they're down and will be the first ones to change their tune when things turn for the better.
There is no success without pain. Like in the film Braveheart and William Wallace's quote "hold...hold....HOLD"
Feels like we are at the point of the tsunami where the tide is drawn out. Mass testing is being rolled out. I doubt that the majority of the lower risk population will be inoculated before the summer is out. Mass testing is about to go wild globally and our share price is dropping. 1+1 equals 8
