I topped up based on loss/profit ratio.
The SP may go down / up and we cannot predict. But the current price is a good entry point with a good loss/profit ratio.
I will top up again if SP goes down.
In June / July 2020, institutes collected lots of shares at 1950. So it will have strong support around that price.
Also, if we see the volume of the last two weeks, how can institutes distribute shares in such a low volume.
Hedged, It’s quite a strange time of year and folk are more tense generally but there is more mental health around with covid, Iv noticed it for a few weeks now.
Clearly no logic in buying this equity atm, for the reasons you stated. Those that are already committed there’s holding, averaging down (but where’s the bottom?) And selling and taking a loss and making up with a recovery stock like M&S or the ones you mentioned.
People must do their own research though!
Good night all
Let me wipe that chip off your shoulder.
If you weren't stirring you'd obviously agree that 100% is a fantastic annual return.....
If I was stirring I wouldn't have listed three counter arguments.
I think we both like the concept of online shopping with a huge technological component. But we differ on valuation and short term catalysts. What am I missing that you've spotted?
You are just stirring. If you feel a 100% annual return is merely ok then there's no point discussing further/in detail.
An earlier posted suggested to let go tit-for-tat platitudes. I did so with a genuine question to try and engage.
My question still stands. I would be interested to actually know your thought process.
hedged - let's see how the share price goes....I am happy to have topped up today at £21.63. I have written countless posts recently regarding my current thoughts on Ocado. Have a read.
There's little point interacting with you if you still believe a 100% annual share price return is "ok"
Swathe of posts removed just now by Neil. He dishes out insults but when it comes to receiving them has the thinnest skin imaginable......
Valueplay - genuine question. You've topped up today knowing:
1) there is a potential for an online tax.
2) the trend is downwards and there is no sign of a bottom yet.
3) the macro data is looking dreadful (unemployment is rising, GDP is volatile Quarter vs Quarter).
What factors did you consider when topping up?
Neil is extremely sensitive, he's had my posts removed before now.
Perhaps you should spend more time planting trees rather than posting your drivel on here.
My objectives here are quite clear.
I research equities heading south to understand why and to pull from other posters on this wonderful board, I love researching and updating ones knowledge. Its important for me to know as much as possible so I am informed, and fully researched.
Research is very important.
Whilst the legal challenges continue in US/UK courts I could not buy this equity.
Also I want to understand the chancellors actions on Wednesday on potential digital taxation increases. Also what support he will give to high street businesses to kick start trade.
Seems to me that anyone who might be thinking of buying into this equity before knowing about these key points is irrational.
Good luck to you all my friends.
Plainly obvious to everyone as to your motivation on posting so much on an equity board you do not own. Or that's what you say...
Happy with my purchase today. May not be the bottom but to me it was an attractive entry price.
Shaggers54, Agreed, one has absolutely no idea what this persons objectives are in terms of her disruption and attack on one! Outrageous and child like behavior, anyway ones would hope we can draw a line under that.
When will this SP find its bottom do you think?
Just topped up at £21.63
Best of luck all
why dont you two just ignore eachother .....its all quite pathetic!!!!
What one would wish to know is where this share price is heading ? Down another 1.5% today and worse on other markets! That’s far more important than one!
We are trying to talk about Ocado group, not the content of some poor persons chat conversations on another board.
You continue to quote nonsense of a juvenile rhetoric or nature. I don’t understand your objectives or purpose.
Somebody using the same name as a comic hero is not related to my pseudonym!
Let's see if you have the courage to let others judge......
Lies have to be removed, I am appalled by your behavior, and its disrespectful and unfounded!
Please stop this juvenile type behavior, its simply unfair to others on this board.
Outrageous!
Let's see what others think. You probably will try to get the post removed again though...
I am not on this other board you mentioned, I have repeated this several times.
All very childish, and yet again you bring the tone and content down on this discussion board. Meanwhile the SP is dropping as you lose face. Great shame value as I thought you were more mature than all this.
Good luck to all.
lol, you are extremely touchy as you've run to the moderators and had my earlier post removed.
Your profile on the advfn board is below. Everyone can look at the 8th and 9th posts down on page 1. I have copied the posts below. You'll probably run to the moderators again though rather than let others judge....

Many will be caught out here in my view as the lows have come and gone. Only upside now. Do your own research and dont listen to the strange folk on here. I am so happy Ocado going back up! JV going exceptionally well with M&S we could see sales on Ocado top £3b Per annum! Fantastic and well done all, wish I was in M&S!

I dont have M&S equity as I sold at 135 and 111, and I am fully invested in Ocado. One wishes I had additional resources to invest in M&S as I expect 120 on this equity shortly!
Do your own research and stay happy guys and dolls yeah!
I am not "touchy" my dear, as you chose to place it.
You are have stated a falsehood to suit your own objectives.
Take a rest, and relax-you can not effect the SP decline unless of course you take some personal action.
Action is the antidote for worry, and lashing out to others will only make you feel worse.
Have a great afternoon all.
Anyone can see they are your posts, let's see what others think. There's a very long history of posts in your own distinct style. You are just playing games here. Of course you are touchy when the truth is unearthed..
