I know Ian, but the last time Basswood sold they sold in 275k chunks. x 4 of them, hence why i was looking at trades above that.
There are numerous 50k/100k trades, but that much higher.
Why would sells only be 300k or higher? There have been numerous round figure sells In the last 4 weeks. 15k 25k 50k and 100k. Impossible to say if its basswood but I’d say likely. If you have a big sell order in, it will be offloaded at Different levels dependant on volume surely.
Old: the trade data is as follows. Gone back to any trade bigger than 300k as far a 8th May.
We have:
600k 27th May
1m on 28th May
1m on 02nd June
1m on 3rd June
1m on 4th June. (posted today)
No trades ending in 909 (yet)
I would expect another delayed maybe later today or approx 1200 on Monday. If as we all assume it is Basswood, then they approx halfway thru dumping?
Ian.B. I would think the delay in Results is more to do with wanting to create a Gap between them and a PFG re News Release and also capture some of the potential Upside in Performance re Starting to Sell again now business are Gearing up. ie : If we are nearer to the end than the beginning then real and more Tangible Potential can attach itself to the Results.
No doubt the Loan Book will have dropped as No Selling early Lockdown / but if they’ve managed to keep it Cash Flow Positive thus Income covering Costs / then with the New £200m Ares lending Facility in tow / They could be in a Great place compared to many other Businesses.
Have they played it Cool ???
I've picked up more - just too cheap here.
Interesting notes from the "other site" ADV. from 32campomar. of course DYOR:
"Ok here is a summary of my conversation with the company over a week ago. He said as i described earlier that the delay is purely because of the auditor being understaffed with staff issues relating to the virus (like many other professions like my own!). I told him there would be nervousness because of the delay, he said that the guidance issued last month still held, more importantly they would have to inform the market if there had been any material change so told me to draw my own conclusions from that. He said he was as frustrated as anyone as he too was a shareholder in the company - and said, and I quote, ‘We are in a closed period so imagine how we feel!’ When I had my conversation he said it would be 2 or 3 weeks, so I imagine we will hear next week. Hope that helps. PS there is a phone number on the RNS, they are very approachable so if you want reassurance pick up the phone on Monday!"
Looking at the Director deals, everyone of them is very underwater. I bet they would like to average down, but can not at the moment due to the closed period imho.
Very good read and analysis.
https://www.charltonillingworth.co.uk/non-standard-finance/ nice read.
1m trade from yesterday priced at 11.16 buy or sell? who knows??
Possibly some overhang from a seller to clear from looking at the order book. Wont last.
Good to see Appleby here, he always sniffs a bargain.
nearly 3 to 1 buys v sells, and it end flat.
That wont stop them , email goes out , they all dive in. Pump the xhit out of it and bank before 1500, ready to play again .
Collects all the dumb money.
Apple, if a P&D crew does arrive, they will have less than 25 hours, maybe only 15 hours to do their work. A RNS is promised to say when the AR are to be published, i estimate they'll do that at close of play on a certain day, saying they'll publish the next day, or a 0700 RNS saying they'll be published the next day.
Ian
I got a good position in here , looks like another long term hold to me.
However expecting a PD crew to turn up closer to results , to provide trading opportunities short term.
1M trade from yesterday.
Accumulating looks to be going on.. ive added today..
Results when ?
Sometimes a share just does its own thing and its impossible to understand it (to me) yesterday, 2 v 1 buys to sells and down, mainly down to the Uncrossing trade at c.o.p. Baffles me.
A lot of 40k buys. Someone building a position?
£22k buy, just casual like.
Thanks for the update.. it would be nice to see the directors averaging down after results when closed period ends.
