Halespur - i would like to see some conclusion within the next twelve months. Definitely think once 002 results come in we will have firm direction whether positive or negative. 100 mil I would be fine with as well , been here since the iPO and quite honestly it has been exhausting . If they can get the Oxilio deal over the line ASAP it will settle a lot nerves.
Good interview and seems positive.
I think 2 out of 3 positive results that Soup has mentioned will help us to be sold off in the next year. I'd take £100m at this stage. I know Gooding used to talk about a billion pound potential at one stage but I think some profit is all we hope for.
and whimax...
so a new poster who posts it's a disgrace a ceo gives notice after 7 months simply for better offer is a 'new loony', eh?
if that's your logic...god help the forum....it could do with a few more loonies waking it up!
you naughty and rather stupid little tinker..)
SOUP Enjoy your hols .
things will tick along
Dammit, the AGM is when I'm on me hols.
At least todays rns is stress free!
Good summary of where we're at ... Thanks Soup
So, with the challenges of this week out of the way. Its clear from the letter and interview that there will be steady progress forward from now.
Essentially we are where we were, its just that we know Anne will leave in the future.
NXP001 Oxilio negotiations to be closed out in the near future.
NXP002 patent being granted in the US and elsewhere.
NXP002 pre-clinical (2 studies) well underway, may even get early feedback.
NXP004 pre-clinical well underway.
Aw, bless!
If, if, if…….lol
If my granny………and all that.
If it does transpire that there are partners waiting in the wings then it might explain a few things.
The first is the timing of Anne's resignation. If it's likely that the company will be sold off within her notice period then she wouldn't actually be leaving anyone in the lurch. They won't need a replacement and it's job done...so why miss out on an opportunity. It makes much more sense than just throwing caution to the wind for your own personal gain. Still ,it is risky and could have screwed things up, especially with Oxilio. However, NXP002/NXP004 are the big pay days those partner(s) might not care what she does either way.
It might also explain some of the departures over the past 18 months. If the original Times leak partner is still interested then maybe they made it conditional that the old board not be around should a deal go through. I always found DG's and CB's departures to be odd (same with Jo Holland). DG retained his holding but I always thought his goal was to sell things off within 2-3 years. He will achieve that goal if a deal is struck on results. Is that why he swiftly handed over the reigns but didn't cash in and plough it into something new?
I'm just looking to make sense of things. I could be wrong but hey-ho, as they say. Anyway, I'm missing Whimax this morning so thought I'd give him something to have a go at.
Makes no sense man !!!
Lol. Looks like we’ve picked up a new loony this morning!!
Chair made clear spoke with large shareholders (DG etc?) who were 'angry' - meaning BoD also angry
Apart from date packages suddenly turning to dust, they know CEO departure single biggest thing NFX needed avoid at moment
Would you employ AB as your CEO in future? How much faith would you have in her if 'friends' came knocking again?
I think so too, there are partners/buyers waiting in the wings. If data is good things should kick off fast and fingers crossed by Christmas we'll be in a completely different position to now.
Yet again, it's wait and see
It does sound like potential partners/ buyers already have their sights on Nuformix and if the expected results are achieved in the studies then that will trigger negotiations.
I believe Anne and the board will be formulating a preliminary negotiation framework over the coming months in anticipation of good results - Julian Gilbert has very useful experience in this area.
