However I think you can relax he won’t sell large amount until you get news then he will dump into the news.... he might be waiting a long long time though Dan the man not doing very well this Q1 news flow he promised....
I get where your coming from YB, but hopeful for Q1 runs out tomorrow so the Q1 dead line for hopeful is tomorrow, if you look at it that way, NFX is inline with most shares down roughly 30% or so but when the markets have rallied no real movement, lets see if they get punished anymore, its just an opinion that's all, GLA.
Cont I have always had confidence in Dan and the organisation. I don’t think Dan (imo) is liable to exaggeration, in fact it is usually the opposite, underwhelming, which I think is the one topic they have got wrong. In the world of Pharma research/ development they have made great strides in a relative small-time framework and I still believe they will deliver substantial results. Not only for investors, but the people who have extremely debilitating medical conditions. However, belief is sometimes tough to maintain during challenging periods and patience is tested.
Good post Hartlepoolbob (08:48). My apologies in advance for the extended post, especially to those who have a limited attention span. I will always advocate that individuals should be able to express their own opinions. However, if a poster is claiming a (supposed) statement of fact, then it should be quantified. Why do people contribute to or accept ‘fake news’, is it for ulterior motives (self-gratifying or financial), accidental (misinterpretation of information), delusional (fixed beliefs that do not change, even when a person is presented with conflicting evidence), reverse psychology (encouraging a behaviour or belief by advocating its opposite), mischievous/vexatious etc, etc. Some reasons can be instantly identified, and I believe (in my opinion) one of the main reasons, is that in the first instance they haven’t done any relevant research and rely on others (unfortunately) to supply this? However, it will always be up to the individual reader to interpret which one it may be or whether it has any meaning at all!
Factual statements by Dan from the ‘Vox Market Interview 20th February 2020 although I have taken slight liberty in grammatically condensing some of the statements. Please listen to the interview yourself and please correct me if I have supplied misinformation: -
NXP001 Oncology supportive care relating to Nuwsummit Bio; There hasn’t been any breakdown of relationship, payment delay is due to unexpected circumstances regarding reorganisation etc. When the (relative) new team members come back into the business we will continue to work with them. Due to coronavirus all staff are remaining at home, right down to receptionists. Still owed the payment due, but timeline difficult to forecast at the moment, really from the perspective of coronavirus. NXP002 Lead Fibrosis programme and negotiations in the Far East/Japan; Re technical date, really pleased where things are, and I believe it will be transformational for the business. Still HOPE (*) deal will be closed in Q1. But we are very comfortable where we are with the small raise before Christmas and the ongoing income from Ebers activities, allows us still to progress both NXP2 & NXP4 programmes, without delay or reliance on 3rd parties. But still really happy with the way that negotiations are going and still HOPEFUL (*) that we will close out licensing Japanese rights in Q1. With the best deal possible. Really happy with the team we’ve now got.
‘Fantastic team got some wonderful assets and the whole team feels there’s tremendous value in the business and are highly incentivised to take things forward. Feeling very confident’.
Nowhere was the word Deadline, (‘a line or limit that must not be passed. (formerly) a boundary around a military prison beyond which a prisoner could not venture without risk of being shot by the guards.’) or Targets used. But HOPE and HOPEFULLY (“it is hoped (that)”) was.
Ok bob keep cool lol, remember it’s really none of us on here started the Q1 talk it came from Dan, that’s why some are disappointed me too, this is what happens setting targets that are missed, it may we’ll be down to what I said everything’s on hold all over the world so no difference for NFX, but why not say you can’t just bury your head in the sand , anyway we will soon find out one way or another.
Well bob there’s always tomorrow, but if they know there not going to do it in Q1 why not say, it could be a lot less damage to the share price if said earlier , never know we might get a surprise tomorrow .
Bit busy now but I’m sure he finished by saying fully expected by end of Q1, either way shouldn’t be saying anything if they can’t back it up, you know you get punished in this game for missing targets it’s the nature of the beast, when it goes to the wire like this it’s not good, but you can live in hope, business has slowed some more than others and we’re just caught up in it ,
When someone in his position goes live and give you a dead line you expect the dead line to be met, and if not you pay the consequence's , remember all the talk on here about Q1 didn't originate from us it was NFX.
