For those wondering around what NFX play is with Ebers, you only have to look at the Opioid crisis, which you can quickly google to understand. Far too many pain treatments are based on Opioid derivatives, (i.e. oxycodone, morphine, codeine, fentanyl etc.). Opioid's are addictive and far from ideal for long term use, they have many negative side effects. Cannabis has pain relief and nausea relief properties and have been under explored and in the past unreliable as pharma therapies, as most are natural molecules presenting companies with issues for patents and isolation of unwanted properties. What is known is that it is far less physically addictive. Cannabis has a family of molecules (cannabinoids) of which the most known/ most largely concentrated in plants due to imbreading for their desired effects are THC and CBD. There are many cannabinoids in the family not just these 2 many have never been tested/concentrated for purposes of pharmaceutical therapies. Its a huge opportunity that warrants research and whilst i am more focused on NXP002 and NXP004 for value incursion events with this company, i completely understand Dan's interest in this area commercially. To compare their approach to that of the influx of CBD products (i would agree snake oil therapies is a good comparison) or other cannabis mainia companies we've seen mainly from Canada/US are not seeing the bigger picture with NFX's plans in this area. Its kinda like comparing the company that was planning to develop codeine with someone offering poppy seeds to rub on your skin.
Hi Gou , I know of a few holders that between themselves that if combined total would issue at least a first TR1 re holdings ie 3 % then if it’s at 1 % junctures possiblybtwo more , meaning 5 %
Yuyus great to have big holders here , reassurance for us all ,
The isa limit is 20k , I done mine this year ,
If this takes off the isa can save you a fair bit tax .
I will have to take a look tomorrow now
Good point with the new tax year approaching
Thanks both of you
HL are very good , just remember though losses in an isa aren’t tax deductible.
Think yearly limit is £20,000
Dm if you got isa stick it in ,if this does go you limit your tax . Plus a new tax year round the corner
Thanks
Yes you can buy straight from your shares ISA or Bed and ISA them if you already hold them in a standard share dealing account. Everybody does it
Thanks,
I’m holding shares and was wondering if it’s worth adding some to my isa,
These are available to put in my isa? I’m with Halifax if so You have helped me make my mind up and going to stick ten g in tomorrow,
Cheers
Yes Cbd seems to be debased by the rubbish and snake oil salesmen
Re potential , difficult one to guesstimate with so many unknowns, but multiples of current shareprice IF allowed to carry on with being cash rich and a constant income plus new and ongoing licensing .
Think it could could scary ie holding from early days and temptation to sell , take profits
I know a lot of people mention CBD but I personally don’t get the old cannabis thing, I personally would do without it! As someone stated over the weekend, I think it could put the City and potential major takeover companies off..... just my opinion, not something I would Pursue but part off the company I believe in.
The potential is massive! Getting there will take time though. Not really a share for the get rich quick brigade, long term though (1-2 years) I haven’t come across a better option. There will be a few nice spikes along the way and equally troughs that will allow you to increase your holdings. There is very little negativity about the BOD apart from payment delays, I personally think the payment (which is quite small) has been put on such a high pedestal that the increase on arrival will be minimum. If additional collaboration arrives, that will be better and NXP002 has the potential to make us all a lot richer! Positive human trials on 002 and the cigar is definitely coming out:)
Has anyone here worked out roughly the share price potential?
