OWLS - Completely agree. Ha! Very good. Shame you won't be in the same division next season. At least you have some football to watch, I did follow Bury but as I'm sure you know, the club was expelled from the football league in 2019. Last time I visited Hillsborough I think you had Dave Jones as manager, who incidentally turned up at Bury as an "adviser" weeks before the expulsion. It was an evening game, I think it finished 4-1 - Ryan Lowe scored for you.
Every season seems to be a tough season. Terrible management, it's time we got rid of these foreign "investors" with no understanding of the traditions of the game.
At least SUFC were relegated. I support 2 teams, Wednesday and whoever United are playing.
Hi OWLS, enjoy reading your posts. I take it you're a Wednesday supporter? Tough season.
No problem, after many years of investing nothing ever seems obvious, shares seem to go up for no reason and vise versa, I just play the trends which seems to work more often than not.
Oh i didn't say it before the uptick, apologies owls you were correct!
Slightly harsh owls.
Not exactly hindsight when I'm invested and make the statement before the uptick . The statement, at least currently, was correct. 2.80 was oversold.
Mid 3s is closer to fair value in my view, hope to see it move closer to that over the summer.
Everything is obvious in hindsight.
It was fairly obvious this share had become oversold, nice to see this tick back up a little.
Nex is my biggest holding too, and this 10% drop is fairly painful! I'm about invest another good chunk on the markets and at these prices, I'm tempted to buy a few more Nex as this will only be a relatively short lived pull back, assuming the Indian variant gets kept at bay. My wife helps out with the Covid vaccination in Machester and she's been drafted at short notice to give extra Moderna vaccines tomorrow so all being well, this drive should keep a lid on this spike. Have a good weekend all. C
Same, but it is frustrating!
Out of fashion at the moment.
Let's hope they unlock next month otherwise we could be stuck here for a little whilst longer. It's a big chuck of my portfolio to!
Would consider moving more money into this, at these prices if it wasn't already such a big part of my portfolio.
This seems to be getting over done now, it's very good value at these levels. Really should be mid 3s some point this year, barring some extreme vaccine dodging variant.
Rant away. I bought in just after the results and it has been on a downward spiral ever since. Wish I hadn’t bothered. Doubtless it will recover, post-June, but I would rather have bought at today’s price.
Very frustrating share...has been for a month now. There is zero reason this isn't at £3.30 right now. I chose to invest here because of their balance sheet/cash available...and things in our key markets are 50% back to normal. We will make a profit next year! Other shares, with very little profit potential in the next 12 months are well ahead over the last month.
Just a rant!
If that report is true then Nex should get a nice bump up . Things will start looking good in the UK soon for travel . We should stop people from India comeing in though full stop

Apparently this hadn't been made clear until just now.
Wonder whether this will give us a little bump tomorrow - GLA
