Seen this a few times now. At one point it was down 4% to only come roaring back into positive territory at the end of the day. I wonder how many PI's have been caught out trying to play with this one....by far the best strategy was and still is to hold NEX for maximum gains.
Haha. He only appears when the price is dropping. He is like that horror doll “Anabelle” emerging from his glass case at the hint of any depression in the room ;-)
Falks annoyed with himself because he sold to early, now he is willing it to drop back.
@Falkland you do make me chuckle ... you are like one of those little devils whispering in the ears of hopeful investors ..: “you will lose....lose it all, don’t trust your instincts”. lol ;-)))
Think they lost a bit shorting it @130p. Might be trying to recoup their losses haha
we're all greedy mate, that's why we're here!
@Paddy - I think the best description of me is that at times I get a little greedy ;-) haha! But tbh I’m pretty content with performance here. Far less so with a lot of my pension funds which as you say have been hammered (although not wiped out thank god!). Ironically I started a pension for my 2 year old in the depths of the pandemic and that’s absolutely flying haha! You win some you lose some!
that said, some people simply shouldn't be investing at all. Just had look at RR BB due to RI announcement. some peeps think they buy 32p RI share & it be back to £8 in couple years. LOL
Agreed, this Government is just appalling. It's like a circus show. I'm just resigned to laughing about it all now but i do sometimes have sympathy with those investors who had pension pots & private saving held in what were seen as low risk blue chip stuff & have seen the whole lot almost wiped out!
@WAS - eloquently put, sir.
I’ve asked several “doctors” where they draw the line. PHE stats suggest 22,000 deaths from the flu during a “normal” season, sometimes less, sometimes more. But point being, would they support locking down every year to stop the spread of the flu?
If not, why not? Where have they drawn the line?
A lot of silence after that lol.

@guitarman - agree wholly. The public seem unaware (and are certainly ill-equalised) that trade offs on lives vs costs happen every single day, be that in healthcare provision, safety features, regulations etc. Playing to that gallery is mindless on the part of the government. But sadly they have started an engagement they have no idea how to conclude now...
Been angry about the covid response for ages ;-) I think it’s complete insanity... far less angry about the share price :-)
Goes up 30p, peeps happy for a day. Couple pence dip, anger, impatience again! human psyche is a wonderful thing! LOL
noggers - personally struggling to understand the appropriateness of scale of response to covid now. UK will probably spend circa 500bn to fight the outbreak now. That’s about 4 times the NHS budget or the treatment of 4 million people. The total bill will likely be in the trillions once lost businesses, lost education, lost future fiscal receipts is included. It is beyond doubt now that austerity and lost current/future service and health provision will kill multiples more than Covid. Anyone familiar with the ethical problem “Bystander At The Switch” would probably see this as the first time someone believed the most suitable response was to send the trolley down both tracks at once.
I think most people are waiting to see if america passes a stimulus bill today. That is what turned things around yesterday, the hopes of one (and then on fears one wouldn't be passed caused america to lose ground at the end).
Not unhappy at all. Just saying it’s a shame the opening price didn’t hold. What more could I want..? Hmmm...the opening price to hold? Lol
FTSE up so expect this down thats what usualy happens.
I am a bit surprised this hasen't retraced more with all the bad news coming out over covid and lockdowns, they are starting in Spain now whether that will affect us i don't know, i will be happy if we can stick around the 150 mark for the time being, until we get some better news.
that opening price didn’t hold a little ...
