Oops . Oxford is AZ isn’t it ! Doh.
Wilson
Thank you
Mine was Astrazenica
I’d be surprised if I get sode effects . May do. My wife hasn’t. I don’t ever get colds or flu...had so many as a child I guess.
Even as a teacher-no bugs got me.
I had covid a year ago though. Just a cough-felt ok except for one slam-dunk day ( day 10). Then better in morning.
Whole family had it. My youngest son got it worst!!
Congrats to all you guys and gals-Oxford/Pfizer or AZ. Technology has been our Wunderkind! Like Jenner and Pasteur and Fleming et al !!!
Steve, feel the same way. In April last year it was acceptable to say 'demand for testing should continue for the rest of the year', in August it was acceptable to say 'demand for testing is likely to continue into the early part of 2021', but the full year trading update at the end of Jan 2021 deserved some sort of forecast, even if the uncertainty was emphasised.
If this is correct even more pointless then one imagined.

the requirement for PCR test is in the gift of the country being visited, not the UK as the departing country/
Interesting when you read up on the BA Anitgen test. You buy it, gets delivered to your home, you take it away with you so you can test yourself before entry back into the (UK). Don’t the (UK) learn?
It seems PCR tests are still required for departure to some other countries.
Hey Wilson, I had my Oxford jab around ten days ago. I actually had quite a lot of mild side effects. Took me around 6 days to get over it. Couldn't sleep, fatigue, joint ache, muscle ache, fever, chills, headache, upset stomach, nausea. Think I had everything on the list !!. Feeling fine now.
Novacyt "...The demand for testing, and antibody tests, will continue to increase once vaccines have been introduced on a large scale...."
So why were they so coy about forward guidance on revenue for 2021(which trashed the SP)
Crl congratulations on the first jab I had Pfizer and had no reaction at all.
Wilson 63
Yes. Many articles saying testing will become a part of life. Otherwise how can we protect ourselves from this coronaviris or any other? Testing of C19 will also have to continue globally well through 2022.
PCR’s the only reliable methodology. I imagine a 10 second test will not be far off. !!!!!!
I just had my first jab today.4 months ago it was all theory!!
However I can confirm you can nail jelly to the ceiling provided it's still in block form.
Made a real mess trying it.
Kaeren. Absolutely true.
I am patient by nature. Hard to be a teacher if not :-)
But patience can be chosen.
I hate sitting on a humungous loss-5 figures. But I can tolerate it. I have had far far worse sufferings in life and still do.
But if Nov was not a winner I would not.
Its forward planning is praiseworthy.
Re. Blackrock. Canny company. Have been involved in a lot of shorting before. No morality nor ethics. Do any? But Blackrock are notorious. What they aim to do with their 5%+ holding is the point. They can bundle and sell it on. Or all sorts of things with portions of it. It is a really devious world behind those doors. No emails. Nothing recorded. Getting very rich is all that matters.
Building a stake is a good sign on the outside yes. But I would NEVER trust the bu**ers.
Oh and forgive me for being contradictory ...but there may be plenty of holders willing to sit at this price. If they bought in cheaper. They don’t need the money. They are breaking even and happy to wait . They are buying in . Loads more reasons. Lots of holders may be quite happy here at this price if they are on a profit or don’t need the money. Or are even on a loss but are not in need. So there will be many punters who are not phased and will be quite happy sitting here.Glad to say.
Ultimately we can’t know how many punters are happy or unhappy here . An unknown.
I’m not happy admittedly!!! But at least I’ve been here before. And I will focus on longer term realities and not stealthy short-term profiteering. Painful as it is.
I strongly support your forced patience:-)
Well said Brentw1.
Fireblade diss ShaunP on his return to the board. A real numpty.
For those that may have slipped through this earlier off the record has kindly highlighted the salient point over two pages still expecting testing to increase with the vaccine.

No holder is happy to sit at this price , risk appetite has been huge across aim on speculation of getting to market across a multitude of shares. This company has achieved that repeatedly , is cash rich and yet appears to be a victim of the what next syndrome, to me the cash mitigates a lot of the risk as the speculation of can it , will it has to a degree been removed , it is now a case of what will it acquire next, not can it. We are streets ahead of many competitors because of Mullus reacting quickly in Jan last year. Without news I would have expected a drift but this has been a systematic taking down of the SP and in parallel to that an increase in the holdings by companies like BlackRock. So why are they so interested in NCYT, they invest to make money and see potential not visible to a lot of pi's , their continued increase in the position they hold is a massive buy signal to me. Time will tell , lucky are those who are patient by nature , not something that I am ,but am forcing myself to be here.

Well said WB. It is all under control by those we do not see in a way we and the FCA ( who??) cannot prove. I have been here SO MANY times in 35 yrs of tradin-but particularly since about 2010 ..2 yrs after Lehmans when it had a chance to bite.
WBAFC you are so right. And thank you for reflecting my points. I know I’m right but don’t expect others to necessarily buy in.Why should they? They don’t know me.
Fireblade...with all respect you are 100% wrong but I say this in respect as people are entitled to be wrong. Please continue to believe whatever you wish.
The City is a bed of corruption. It really is.
Those involved admit it to me.
They are usually very rich and are encouraged not to divulge. But they do.
Anyway....there are many things that could be happening behind those doors. We can’t know until TR1 or RNS.
Fair value..........???? £6:95p ????
Wrong mushrooms.
Porky
Hi
I studied Economics and Politics at Uni and Macro Economics post-grad. Alspnpost grad finance at OU. My thesis was on the stock markets since its inceprion ( right back to tulips from Amsterdam) but particularly from the 1920’s to Lehmans. The Mm games are more intricate now because of online trading and the plethora of private investors due to low interest rates. But the old mm games and trader games from 100 years ago still play out. Depress and worry people into selling. Wear them down over time. Bore them. Number one game. Hundreds more.
I am singing from same hymn page as you.
There may be stop losses remaining. People who are not sure about Ncyt and fall for the lack of info and drooping price. I’m sure more are left. I don’t think that’s the main reason for this any more though.
Just like with SNG early last year..global institutions were selling each other bundled deals of shares. Which they then liquidated at a profit or sold on themselves. Blackrock and others may be involved in this sort of macro dealing.
It is algo-controlled when an order is put in. My mm “ friends” tell me snippets.
It is ALL done secretively in order that the market is unaware and remains nervous and vigilant.
The macro swopping of share bundles controls the price to a tee. We shoukd just sit it out and wait months. We must not rely on an RNS. They come as and when.
This low price is VERY likely to persist fror weeks and months and my only advice( to be taken or ignored) is to leave the share.Indefinitely.
Or buy if you can and join the party.
The Bourse is just an added complication which Nov could do without.
But the bigwigs are stuck in behind closed doors making fortunes. Let’s just leave’em be.
Well Fireblade.
I totally agree! I'm 100% sure that the City boys wouldn't dream of taking advantage of private investors and that the market is a fair and transparent place with superb regulation. How naïve of people to think that funny business, mates rates and manipulation might be even considered.
Next week, how to nail jelly to the ceiling will be explained.
I dont think theres any manipulation, its just the price at which they think well be happy to sit at.
crl123
I agree totally with your sentiments. Novocyt shares are held back to manipulate the market in favour of institutions and or possible take over. Best to just take a chill pill and relax. This is a fantastic company that will be worth @ least £2B and at some point sp will reflect this . It maybe take 2 years time , so be it .... just chill and hold onto your shares.
Indeed but SP manipulation is not a new invention
https://seekingalpha.com/instablog/2918951-g-hudson/1026551-how-the-big-players-manipulate-the-stock-market
IMO being on the French Market does not help our position. Buying and selling by II to milk that bit more out of nervous retail that have sold into it. But at some point SP has to Move North.
I am expecting an update confirming Black rock have an increased position. There would be absolutely little point in increasing to over 5% holding if they don't expect significant upside from here unless they want to try selling some more to encourage retail to sell further? but even that's a push. Surely any retail that want out have already left the building?
Deals being done between ii’s and favoured traders atm. All behind closed doors. Insider trading which is not investigated. Hence share price shenanegans. All games.
Ncyt at forefront of testing.
And post covid monitoring.
Ignore share price.
All manipulation.
Hang onto your shares and leave this one.
Not worth fretting about.
And certainly not worth giving shares away.
Bottom drawer and keep popping in to monitor but not too often.
This manipulation is all carefully controlled to make them lots and lots of money.
Lots and lots of patience even when you have none.
Let the games play out.....however long.
Ncyt ain’t going down. It’s cutting edge.
Hence the low buying price for the MuppetBabes.
