The Government national validation page states that 19 tests have been validated but only 17 are shown. I gave feedback on the page so it may be updated again; currently last updated on 19th July and lots showing as work in progress. Note also that there is caveat stating "Other technologies that have been validated will be added to the table once the manufacturer has consented to publication."
It isn't the problem neil, of course we don't know exactly how many tests we've sold at any given time or if each and every single test is spoken for already. We do have an idea of how much the company expects to be making and selling this year through the recent 2021 guidance and that's what we have to go on.
It takes little imagination to see novacyt coming in firmly ahead of the 2021 guidance which would do the share price the world of good when that time comes...
Monday:
Notice of Director / PDMR share holding perhaps, or news from FDA about an approval or EUA.
Either would be a starter for ten for the whole week, - but let's see.
You have to look at what will change and move the share price. The 70k and 5.6k buys after the close could be company employee related and an rns released. This will supersede much of this weekend posts.
Even if an rns is not issued the size of the 70k buy is over 230k and is going to be picked up by investors.
It is best to look at what is visible.. next week it will be looking for more larger trades.. hopefully there will be enough but volume to take us out of this artificially low price. Revenues of 7 million pounds a month are not to be sneezed at.. the companies guidance should be the yardstick. And the company is always conservative. An update or resolution of the DHSC could arrive at any moment.
Saintsmith, That's the issue....we just don't know, although the RNS answered some questions there remains too many unanswered questions.
As stated below, I'm hoping that the reason for the poor visibility is that production is being stockpiled to fulfil a major order. Fingers crossed.
Maybe all of our LFT are already spoken for ?
Already sold ?
Or sold through a second party as an OEM ?
Maybe a big pharma has put in an offer or expression of interest and told us to lay low for a while ?
Mid cap ambitions or takeover coming sooner than we think ;)
A bunch of very negative posts this morning. The are a very different contrast from the buying after the close on friday. Cages being rattled comes to mind.. only joking
Rattle rattle.
We can only hope that current production is being stockpiled in order to fulfil a major order, because NCYT are no longer pushing their products via social media, other than VERSALAB portable a couple of days ago.
Looking forward to the next trading update, although with a little trepidation.
It is an interesting point Neil, that after plugging all new products throughout Q2, the company has gone so quiet at a time when UK testing numbers are through the roof. Especially the LFT's.
The RNS from the 29/06 states that the LFT for professional use already has a CE mark and 'this product is available immediately.'
However a month later, zero visibility, no further tweets and not on sale via any of our distributors. Can only hope that the DHSC are purchasing the job lot, although it was stated 'the Company will initially target private market opportunities for these LFTs via its existing distribution network.'
Reading between the lines....a month later we have approximately 4 million LFT within a warehouse and not For Sale?!

No mention of Microgen Bioproducts?
Do we have any intelligence of Portin Down tests results for LFT devices that bears Microgen Bioproducts name?
I thought they said it was still awaiting its CE mark so would be available shortly? My impression was that was imminent then it would hen be made available to distributors once they got it
Presumably Eurofins have sold millions of their LFT, therefore why would NCYT quote a test sample of 300 plus if it was exactly the same test. Also, a month after our test was released and meant to be available immediately, how come not listed for sale with any of our distributors? Even the listing upon the Microgen website hasn't been completed, simply a link to the RNS from the end of June No further Tweets reference the LFT that was meant to be available. All very poor in my opinion.
I’ll just keep quiet from now on.
Sorry Larry read your earlier mail , yes , understand now.
Checkout Eurofins technical director for clinical diagnostics in the UK, promoted to the position at the beginning of the month. Previously worked for Primer Design for 6 year's until 2019.
Thanks for responding Larry , see Deas question below is this what you believe ? Thanks K
Larry, so you think it’s a Microgen test produced by eurofins under OEM?
I think WE are just oem for thee ag LFT. Rns is confusing.
Have the same S&S for one type of sample is possible. Having exactly the same S&S for the two types of samples has only low probabilites. Thats why i think pour LFT is the one from novagen, and that we are just oem
Hi Larry , im confused the test you mention was announced in Dec 20. If we were involved then an RNS would have been necessary. What am I misunderstanding ? Thanks
Nothing easy about a takeover, particularly when most shares are in the hands of private investors, most of which bought significantly higher, including the directors. No takeover offer would be considered at less than industry average multiples, which would translate to a much much higher price, not far from Porky target. I doubt they'd entertain anything less than high teens, why would they? The current share price bears no reality to the ncyt financials, its just a moment in time. Come year end we will likely have c200m cash in the bank...
I didnt realise Eurofins was huge ..... it would not be surprising if they are looking to swallow up Novacyt . Considering they are doorsteps away from Novacyt it would therefore be easy for them to just expand the whole site into one big building .
How much would they pay to take over ? Novacyt's share price is manipulated to such a low level that they could easily be bought out .
# take over on the cards
There are some guesses that the AG LFT we sell (or will be selling...) is from novagen. Part of eurofins.

To get back to a takeover from anyone, i would largely prefer that we expand independently like eurofins did since the last ten Years. A SP from 4€ to 102€ today.

Is Nova in the crosshairs of eurofins sights!
Is this what all the sp manipulation has been about?
Is the city one step ahead, & we are just catching up!
Megaquid Monday, if it were Rns’s???
