I agree Sodor I think worse case scenario regarding DHSC more them factored in. I also agree eith you BH2 that this will eventually be resolved. I think Larry's find yesterday on Indonesia was great and im sure there are multiple more specifically Snpsig .
Thanks wilson. Read with interest. 2 v 1 perhaps.
But the test is now compromised as no one wants to stay at home after a false reading. They should be literally thrown in the bin. I've not used one of them. The second professor seemed in line with the governments attitude. The other two concentrated on the facts and that they were just not good enough.
Tks to uk2day professor sheik bird has a link that's interesting

Yet strangely their share price is tanking - in fact we're about the only one in the blue today, perhaps there's a realisation that money in the bank means a lot more than potential cash generation in such uncertain times?

Apologies for the irrelevant aside (certainly not trying to be disruptive BTW)

chrisdr2,
You can helpmin that regard by stop posting it.
Govt decision -making, care home trials, testing etc... all have an effect on Novacyt.
As with the current dispute.
Not sure BigJW... Is this a party political broadcast or a post for the NCYT bb? The idea of the bb is to discuss investments and not who to vote for at the next election! There is enough rubbish posted here already!
Very much agree bigjohnny. Im sure your not the only one whos been thinking the same. Were all just a bunch of plebs for their amusement.
Novacyt never got the care homes contracts because it was never BungleBoris or HandiKokFace's intention of saving lives of care home residents. Why do you think they deliberately sent covid positive cases from hospitals to care homes. Bungle said in his election fiasco/manifesto he would once & for all sort out care home costs and problems but his idea to solve care home and social costs was to let them die. Thus saving on care home costs, healthcare nhs costs and as a Bruce bonus, those that died prematurely with money would pay inheritance tax and descendants more likely spend the money on consumption and new cars & properties instead of squirreling money away. Win win 4 the gov & fcuk the pensioners is the tory way.
John117 bit of a bargain is an understatement. Something I am perplexed about is a trial that happened last summer 2000 care home patients utilising the Q32 NPT , with Queen Marys , Jo Martin. A contract for care homes never materialised but not because of any issues as we learnt later about the contract utilising the same methodology with the DHSC in Sept.
They obviously didnt want to spend on the care home environment , will not go into all the issues there ! Raise this because the DHSc must have had access to this data before signing the Sept contract. This was nothing new ! Feeling optimistic that GM does indeed have a strong case . Good luck all this week. K
I think it’s a bit of a bargain right now. I’m waiting for the correction. Cash in the bank 36m a quarter in commercial sales, and I’d expect that to grow.. Plus LFT to come, oh and the little matter of Innova.
Had you, you could have “treble” plus your holding?
Why didnt you, is the question?
Wilson. Glad to be back on board.
Warm regards.
Woodstock pse report back if you unearth anything as yet nobody has unearthed a definitive answer to something that has materially impacted our investment short term.
Van, I an sorry to see you taking a hard time on this forum. I know you are a well versed genuine invester.
Will research further this evening.
Thanks everyone.
I
Butch. Thanks for your reply. My question hasn't been answered, however I will research further.
Woodstock id imagine that unlikely as he'd have to ring fence the dhsc product, I'd presume our argument is product ring fenced dhsc therefore couldn't be sold elsewhere.
@Woodstock1970
Wait till the footballs over !
If England lose, some will be looking for trouble.
Much national populist fervour is whipped up around 'the beautiful game' and supporters.
The same terms, atitudes etc... are prevalent on many message boards and unfortunately common place generally in society - so sad but almost impossible to de-program now with multiple generations & sexes involved which was never the case in the past. The bad effects far outweigh the good IMO but c'est la vie.
No you made money WS and chose to leave. The shortersvand naysayers have milked the DHSC issue. Respect your extensive market knowledge and look to your Ghia and a few others rather then read the entire board. Think this is a superb buy in price a no lose situation unless you want to daytrade over the next three months. Gl K
Perhaps the problem with DHSC, is because the contract allowed for so many tests and the CEO is fulfiiing better contracts abroad.
Sorry Woodstock. You will have to catch up as I post.
When around 40 posters dislike one poster and a friend ? Appears ?. I always use caution before I interact with a poster. I get the feeling that something is amiss at the moment and I am just posting to counter balance it.
Novacyt look good to go. And I am just posting to counter the avalanche if posts that have nothing to do with the current situation.
@Kaeren. It is me that the sp has been milked over the DHSC issue.
I am glad we are using mindful narrative and divulged from the second hand dialogue of attacking well versed long term investers.
Hi Harchris , to use the in vogue phrase of being milked , the DHSC issue being resolved favourably allows for a great range of outcomes. Favourably to me would be a repay of up to 50mm and this would rerate. Hopefully no repayment or a compromise with selling a certain amount of kits at around cost so both parties benefit. Hopefully those involved in the arbitration suggest multiple ways of achieving an outcome palatable to both parties. Sometimes better to negotiate and move on. Pleased we are included in the new Frameworks which to me is an indication that this dispute is not beyond remedy without seeking address from the courts.
