I'd recommend everyone go back to the first post in this thread and follow the link. An excellent and well informed assessment of where NCYT are, and what the future holds.
If most are honest I’m sure most would say they would of sold on completion of phase 2 contracts with a buy back coming before potential winter wave.
I can only see a further 20 percent plus drop Monday . Minor percentage pullbacks on the way down. Cash is king apparently but we have no road map for the future....yet. GM rns have been terrible. earnings will be much less...They don’t know where they will be...The whole world is battling against covid and after 12 months look how far we have come. This was hammed up , contracts in dispute, potential legal battles. Orders appear to already be drying up and that’s why we are placed here it’s a sinking ship. People comparing P/E ratios from other companies, wake the f*ck up, can anyone say nova is going to be around in 5 years time...no, we don’t have a crystal ball. It has potential but it’s still one trick when compared to other mid cap. Oh there is another job advert on linked in....
I stuck around as I was expecting a bounce back but it’s failed miserably. Red flags are there.
Don’t get me started on the director buys in November. Sucked everyone in. Sorry to be doom and gloom but This is the second company I have lost a lot of cash in. Even with new lft’s hitting the market the dhsc certainly won’t be taking up orders after legal action. They are happy with the cheapies. We have no confirmed future. The contract was massive. Wasn’t everything but it will wipe over the half the value of the company imho. Bring back the good old days when handjob mentioned nova. That’s all gone now. History. Hands up who is out first thing Monday ?
In time this could recover but sentiment has gone, cash pile isn’t as big as previously stated and the ceo likes to keep things from shareholders. Disaster IMO.
Sharedealer originally Vadim from sp angel on with Justin Waite.
Peka that's roughly the discussion that's been had here you've nailed it, depends who's version of the contract is correct, I think us,but probably wise to give some ground.
Not sure who said about the ‘Gillette’ scenario as it wasn’t me, but that was a perfect analogy!
One point that needs to be remembered and it was said on here a long while ago is the ‘Gillette’ scenario....
Novacyt have a number of machines 100’s already installed, the NHS, private companies are not just going to get rid of them, they are installed and staying in place for ‘testing’ for many years and not just for COVID. They are a catalyst for ‘testing’. Unlike other tests which are ‘throw away’ our products are ‘multiple use’. Novacyt were excellent in getting the ‘Trojan horse’ into the NHS and other private companies and they will be utilising that for many many years to come.
The products will not be just for ‘COVID’
Accuracy cost time now **** of to your own boards there are plenty of adults over there that don't wander round boards they are not invested in.
Unfortunately it’s too expensive and takes too long
Mr adventurous I hear you difference is pcr ARE delivering and have the accuracy, the other products still have to come to market.
We were already pivoting to the private market(various gov docs on this last week) and Novacyt looks well position here, I quote blackbird investing on twitter here(I'm not going to run through the 300 to see if we are supplying 20%, )))

Mradventurous do you mean will the hospitals and laboratories continue using pcr as the gold standard probably Are you thinking the lft you are invested in will be used in emergency rooms pre op etc etc.
All these countries insisting on pcr for access will they drop this requirement, remember currently it's the uk that has an lft obsession.
Dyou think Carl smythes excellent research(small holding) will then take over from pcr I again think that would encroach on lft territory rather than pcr(the practicality of multi testing with this still needs clarifying)
In short all these people who think pcr is gone should check on the billions of pounds/dollars/yen/euros etc etc that have been spent on pcr equipment across the globe in the last year and think is this all going to landfill, No. regards Wilson.
Good morning everyone, nice sunny morning in Suffolk, me and Dylan are going to be trying out fishing for the first time today lol. I like the idea of it but think I will be bored and I don't think he can sit still or quiet for long enough to catch anything, we'll see! How are you feeling Wilson? I hope our little setback hasn't stressed you out too much and acted as a setback for you? Wishing you all the best, wishing us all, all the best. Have a good one!
