Yes Troublesome I picked up on the 150 countries.
It's up from the 130 recent figure.
Amazed the packaging is done manually.
I wonder how long before they move to new premises ?
Although a bit of a naff video in my opinion. It's better than nothing at all.
HKT
They're all in use in the NHS.
It has the stamp of GM all over the video, thanking his staff for the tremendous effort they are putting in.
He wanted his staff in front of the camera I believe.
To be fair the video is not as polished or modern as you would expect if compared to advertising in US, its quite a dated approach and very British... Like an old school training video. Does NCYT really need adverts like this in any case? It all helps at the end of the day and the key messages are there. But no tag line or anything that really makes you remember NOVACYT - hope they didnt spend alot on this marketing. I'm sure they could have used a huge chunk of profits to make a much more expensive version but wpuld it have added value for the expected audience
BTW anyone have thoughts on why only q16s are shown throughout and no q32s???
I've watched the video two or three times now and I have to admit that I am not blown away. I have no problem with the genuine people in it, it's the production/storyboarding etc. that I feel could have been better, and that's down to the Video Production Company.
What I am blown away with however is the implications of the Horizon programme (Porky, I don't see eye to eye with you all the time but you have done a crackling :-) job of that precis), the R & D RNS and where Novacyt are positioned as regards sequencing, ongoing testing and further development of the Q Platforms for the post-Covid eras.
Very happy to have close to six figures in this at the moment. GLA

Mmm - The Wright Brothers - The Aeroplane etc.....
I can agree with that Troublesome, just that a few of the scenes looked a bit ‘Fred in a shed’. Not picking though, the fact that they’ve done something proactive is warmly welcomed!
Looks like they are starting to listen to constructive criticism , which is promising too.....
Big is not necessarily beautiful.
They think big, dream big and believe big.
The results will be big.
*No hype here*
Very pleased to see NCYT being proactive with a bit of PR, my only observation being that the visuals didn’t make the company ‘look big’. The basic message is strong though, especially the reference to shipping to 150 nations - how some of our so called competitors would love to be able to say that!! Be hype here, just a solid and innovative business actually delivering solid and innovative solutions. Good.
Looking forward to the webinar, which should see us subtly positioning ourselves at the heart of a rapidly expanding sequencing infrastructure. It’s panning out well, the SP will be moving back up very soon.
Happy days ahead....
Actually think Dutch Troublesome , the way he says results. K
Happy trooper here , love it when the board is buzzing, but hey I'm a believer that everything is gonna be fine, because when the going gets rough the tough get going. Collectively we turned every stone and climbed every mountain ( hillseeker) and great to have what we knew was coming confirmed albeit we await the contract--- hopefully numbers so big it's taking a while to type. Got to be a pub with a garden so our mascot Dillionaire can come too. K
The United nations have had a mention a while ago. Did we supply some tests to them. I think that was news that followed WHO recognition.
Oh well not many more to conquer then! - Happy Days
There are 195 sovereign states in the world that are officially recognised by the United Nations. Of these 195 officially-recognised countries, 193 are member states of the UN.
OVER 150 Countries.
Porky9. Agreed about the video.. I also liked the little logistics part. They looked extremely busy. Which is no wonder when you have an extra 20 countries to deliver too.
what is the point in a video - more so that one...surely its to rise above the mundane, but the shots made it look like a little back street operation (logistics team..two tables pushed together with a few hundred bagged products/ board room - bored noddies)it told me little about the company or why it was ground breaking or dug into anything other than the usual teams surrounding any company in this field- left feeling what a waste of time and poor media judgment - oh hang on we know that already. I find these are pumped out to try and keep the Sh onside - not worked
It must have been that they were focusing on at the beginning of the video.
Bet its Covid free, no doubt.
Well I was having a cheeky night watching various crime things ( horizon recorded for tomorrow sounds interesting) and had a wee peak and ohhh buzzing got ma trainees on and me and gm gettin down with the trumpets, seriously nice fresh multi cultural (going by accents) and to the point excellent.
Ark royal now fully turned and moving through the gears, land ahoy it's Wilson island(151 now)

Goodnight I'm off to the beach.
Or -Thanks for your feedback - Happy for those who want to be raise issues like PR constructively but perhaps I should elaborate on my comment re moaners - There have been some on this BB who obviously from their comments do not have a scooby in what it takes to be a business leader and let alone a leader who is key to finding solutions to help get us all - everyone of us including you out of a pandemic. I just cannot believe some of the trivia that has been raised by some. If they want to play the stock market they should study up first instead of trying to blame GM who is doing an amazing job.
@Soder, you know what you can do!!!! Sod off!
Absolutely Superb - Love it, Love it, Love it...
It's worth remembering that we didn't have a video at all before. Some shareholders have zero idea what Novacyt does and this is a rapid way of quickly showing that its a real business, producing and delivering products to get the message out.
it was desperately needed and they HAVE listened to shareholder concerns.
Just Brilliant - oh and 150 countries....... what was i thinking,,, i have been telling everyone its 130 LOL
Ad....has it not crossed your mind that the people who were moaning, complaining and emailing GM, finally galvanised him into action, by releasing the last rns. Sometimes been silent and not calling the company out can be counter productive. Anyways excellent rns this week with a excellent video....hope the momentum continues.
Things grow stronger when you integrate.
The world needs leaders to step forward.
NOVACYT.
If the fork lift driver bought or was given shares in Jan 2020 or earlier then he's probably better off than many of us!! Well deserving a place on the video if not as critical to NCYTs success! Hopefully the Americans will love the British accents as usual :)
