still got the decanter in the loft some where,
I collected Humphrey stickers when I was at school.
Who collected tokens (Esso I think) for wine glasses? We had a full set of wine glasses and a decanter but couldn't afford the stuff to go in them.
On the subject of NCYT I removed my stop losses of £7 some months ago. I bought more yesterday.
Steve - "Hitting Nail on the Head" comes to mind!
Yes, not to forget the World Cup coins.
We could go on forever.
Thinking about it, we are talking in a language that most here will scratch their heads.
A bit like some of the scientific information posted that I have no idea what it means and I suspect the poster doesn't either.
Steve - Is that when you got a free Tiger Tail from Esso for put a "Tiger in your Tank"? Many tied them to the radio aerial to make them look Hip & Trendy - Hehehehehehe
For those too young on here Google Car Radio Aerial & 8 track cassettes while your at it! Hehehehehe
Kaeren: Yes, they were all the rage in those days of yore -- I could have papered the rooms of my house with sheets of GS stamps. I guess we have moved on a bit since then :)
Nae - What a blast! - From the Past
K - Just picked up the following tweet from that, that Wilson posted with another Job ad - Happy Days!
I got my first briefcase with about 24 books.
Trouble was Naewise was you never stuck them in the books until you needed to exchange them.
Naewise my nana collected them and she used to bring us amazing mid year pressies like space hoppers and pogo sticks , that's all I know about them , I associate them with good things.
And petrol was two bob a gallon.
I am ancient enough to remember Greenshield Stamps (in the days before self adhesive versions) and had the chore of licking and sticking them in little books -- loads of them. They were big business! I suppose you could say I stamped my personality on them but felt a little green from the taste afterwards.
Ade just positivity from a poster I hold in high regard. K
Yes ad, It is indeed.
Although according to Pat Boone's speedy Gonzalez song, they were just green stamps.
For those old enough to remember and there's a few on this board.
Ven - Is that "Greenshields Stamps" LOL
I think all holders are beating the same drum.
If we make enough noise maybe more Pi's will jump on board or rejoin us.
Maybe we should offer green stamps ?
Fully agree with you there kaerean, as soon as any large dhsc cintracts land there is no holding this back.
K is right again IMO.
MMs can & do work to fill orders but the landscape changes when expectations of the business move on.
PIs are at a disadvantage with IIs in having less access to information but we can make up with vigilance & discussion.
Crl, good afternoon.
Whilst I acknowledge that mm can be puppeteers pulling our strings and can influence sp direction in quiet periods , I do not agree with some of the contents of your regular posts. To be keep posting that we are effectively in their grip and it will continue longterm and to put them in the bottom drawer for six months/ two years is not imo sound advice.
If you have a sizeable holding don't take your eyes off the ball , keep yourself totally up to date with any competitors , what the company you have invested in has in the pipeline and a realistic expectation of SP.
Your mails could be considered informative or very negative. If I was a potential new investor they certainly would not inspire me to invest. I am not lacking in confidence re my investment here and have over the last three months raised my average considerably , as Isee great future potential.
This post is not designed to in anyway paint you as a deramper or challenge that you hold . I am actually writing this because a relative spoke to me last night concerned by some of your posts. The reality is that if the contracts we believe will land do materialise, then no amt of mm manipulation will stop the buying pressure making the SP rise. I agree wholeheartedly that the games are to let the big boys in, but the little boys only lose if they sell. Atb K
Neil - the Deliveroo IPO will undoubtably defy all sense/logic.
Yes, you're right time to sell and look for better opportunities....have you considered deliveroo? Proposed London float values the business at £8billion despite a £317.7 million pound loss in 2019, a year in which revenues increased 62 per cent to £771.8m. The scale of its 2019 losses forced Deliveroo to take out a loan of £198m.
NCYT....nothing to see here, move along!! Let's all form an orderly quest and dive into Deliveroo.

Ventura.
I agree fully.
With respect...exactly my point.
It’s about accepting how it is.
Time out now.
Candour is only tolerated by those who are not threatened by it.
Comes with the territory of humanity...and chat-boards!!
Hopeful.
I am not moaning about them. Read my posts again. They are all about patience and letting the bar of expectation down. And about accepting what the mm’s do by recognizing what they do. The posts are objective and not bemoaning my lot. I consistently talk about my and others’ responsibility for own decidions and the need to bottom drawer and accept.
Describing mm activity is not moaning about it.
You have projected .
It may have made you feel uneasy yourself for some reason...not my issue.
My posts are about the REALITY of accepting what is and choosing the healthiest way to manage and benefit longer term.
You project what was never there.
And it is mildly undermining to tell someone to relax!! Far better to give them reasons why they should-like I have.
Read again.
CRT123 : The big funds are getting a cheap price yes , but not as cheap as they bought at a month or two ago.
Just consider that they are not buying to lose money and at some point they are expecting a big pay day.
Therefore hold firm and wait for the trigger, it's coming, but likely will drop further before it does.
