shareinterested,
I totally agree with you. Your last point about the pandemic being the main cause of the company's success was made by another poster here yesterday or the day before. People twisted his words and ran him off the board. I do hope they don't run you off and that the other gentleman/lady will take courage from your words and post again.
Lloydyboy,
Tell Gazman to add that to your earlier posting. I'm sure it'll stop his followers from abusing him in no time at all.
The ceo GM might not be suitable to steer a large company. He has been outstanding with a small firm , was very good at improving research (which was/ is useful and crucial to the share price and business success of Ncyt in 2020) his so so management and poor communication and ineffectiveness in business lost lots people loads of money.
Ncyt‘S 2020 success wasn’t fully contributed from GM either. The pandemic circumstances created a unique chance for this company and its early products.
Hope the luck of shareholders and the co. can change and/or will change soon.
No- I don’t invest based on Twitter. I invest on in a company that made me a lot of money, in a company I didn’t think I would get the opportunity to own again. I trust the board, without them I would have half as much as I do and I would never ever support a class action lawsuit against a company that went from 6p to 1200p. They did it before- they probably won’t do it again, but to get novacyt into 800-1000 territory is truly outstanding. Be patient and let the ceo do what he has a track record of doing.
Lloydyboy,
Perhaps you should suggest that response to Gazman123 to pass on to his Twitter followers. I'm sure it would go down really well, and do wonders for his reputation as well as Novacyt's.
General question.... what do you think GM would prefer for his CV a billion pound Mcap company or a £300mil one. Some people just don’t have a clue. Leave the CEO to get on with the tasks of a CEO. If you can’t even get a response from investor relations, stop moaning and move on.

Did you not see Gazman123's post of 18:16 where he says:
"It has got to the point where any message / tweet is being met with a whole host of abuse. It is very difficult to tell NCYT's reach on social media but I would argue that any positive effect is now being neutralised by the negativity. So whether GM wants to or not he will have to start interacting with investors (either via RNS's or interviews etc) otherwise things will only get worse."
He seems to have had a very different experience. I'm not on Twitter so whom should we believe?
Adam, I sure hope you are right but someone said something very similar when we hit £6.59 not that long ago.
Interesting 15 minutes, 1hr & 4hrs charts on Twitter, hopefully we’ll have a blue day tomorrow:
[Inverted hammer on the 4 hrs chart which is a bullish reversal pattern, it signals that a stock is nearing bottom in a downtrend.]

Hopeful.
I echo your sentiments. Feeling in the pits and would also like to thank the decent posters for buoying spirits. Knowing the govt.as I do I did not expect renewal as too many fickle things were playing in their favour. But it was a double whammy from £11. Unexpectedly harsh and deeply oversold. Covid is not dead and is set fo be a permanent. evolving part of human society which evolves in turn to manage it via technology which has to pivot on accurate viral testing. Market only sees short term loss of a contract and revenue ( but not necessarily revenue).
Needs sorting quick. Nov should really support the market somehow but .......(?)
It’s a shame Mr. Mullis. Market sentiment and shareholder communication matter.
Nota bene.
So....sleep for a year and wait.
Any positive support for spirits most welcome.
Games til the next decent RNS. Could get messy if the contract isnt resolved but equally could be played out positively.
So glad the sp did not crash today reading all of the comments over the weekend I was fearing the worst.
Still not a great situation but at least we have formed a base to build on. I am hoping for some positive Rns from the company. I think people are wrong doubting the credibility of GM and NCYT if anything they play things too straight. If they are not in a closed period I am sure the BOD would be buying more shares. Thanks to all the genuine posters for helping keep my spirits up. GLA
