We maybe anxious for news & the company be anxious to provide it, but their proper priority is getting on with the good stuff that they are doing in business. Updates before have been the best they could give at the time, x number of orders, y actually delivered & z in the bank. They have a population of a lot of us PIs (apparently), we aren't all financially as proficient as we might be in distinguishing between sales & orders. I'm guessing they might use 30 June, month end & half year, to say what sales have been & cash accumulated to date. It might take a working week to close the books off , cut of stock & 3rd party holdings & then do an update next week or late next week with accounts figures to 30 June & order book os.
The volume this week is way less than last week
Johnny,
If we compare the previous Sales update we are close or passed.
I think they have more sales or other news that we don't know Mate.
At the moment, it's only a speculation & opinion about Sales and possible another huge news.
The recently trades in / out here looks like most of us are waiting for a huge news.
Of course, I can be wrong, but the volumes are improving every day since last week.
Possible FOMO after 3.30pm today?
Agreed Deas999, - I was trying to explain the missing June 2020 sales data,
but the beans will have to be spilled in the quarterly results ;)
We know we’ll receive the quarterly results at the end of this month which will include revenue, profits and forward looking statements.
Obelix, why must news be close?
If gggg21 saw documentation that said the COVID H-T product was for use on Roche instruments ONLY, then perhaps they are supplying to Roche customer base via Roche.
So the key question is - is there any evidence Roche are offering COVID H-T test kits? (repackaged or not).
If he is not correct and Roche was just one of the instruments on which the H-T product can be used, then perhaps it will be easier to source an Instructions For Use (IFU) document, that will confirm the COVID H-T product is using Exsig direct.
Remember, if H-T is not using Exsig direct, the company will need to source hard to find reagents.
Depending on how well H-T is selling, this could be a big leap in sales.
"each kit containing 1,536 tests for use in 384 well format instead of the smaller 96 well plate format".
This could even be the reason we do not have sales figures for June, - because the H-T product was launched in June, and the company does not want the competition to know how well the campaign is going.
Looking for further test kit sub contractors? - we'll see.
Thank you Johnny, really appreciate.
Thank you Sharehunter.
Do you have the access from France BB? Or anyone here? I think they have the same idea / opinion like yours.
Obelix , good post as usual , with Roche in recent weeks unable to meet demand
with rising covid 19 cases globally
and ncyt supplying 130 countries globally
demand for testing looks to be strong
also thinking share price move up more to be seen this afternoon
Sharehunter,
I think the update will be bigger than we expect for some reason.
Roche can't deal with demand
USA cases rising everyday now
South America in huge problem
South Korea, India + 130 Countries we know are in almost the same situation
News most be close, may be today or Monday morning.
I'm not a hue supporter of "don't want to be out over weekend", but sometimes is true.
Something really big is there, we don't know yet and we can have various choices (as we mention before)
Also, I believe this afternoon will take us close to 285p - 290p due FOMO after 3.30pm (possible not sure) only opinion
Obelix
surprised with the silence at ncyt , some may be thinking are sales low , is that why no sales update
with the buying in Paris today
now watching ncyt to see if they might be thinking news soon
in past some french buyers look to have been lucky ,buying before news
Sharehunter, this could be the silence reason from Novacyt. Maybe a Joint Venture or possible a Take Over.
However, I believe the Government blocked a T/O by Foreigner Companies due the situation.
If Glaxo or Astra make an offer then will be different.
We have a really chance to be over 600p for sure, the main question is when...
while we dont know how many ncyt sales have been in June , or if ncyt might be selling the 10 million tests they now manufacturing per month
with the buying in Paris today , are some there thinking news might be close
if Roche, still unable to meet manufacturing demand ,and if ncyt have spare capacity
why not supply Roche if they can
Bluelight ,thats why personly been moving more money to ncyt , cash is king ,like the £ millions ncyt has coming in from sales
B2 Tks.

1 Perhaps the H-T product was developed with and for Roche, but we need to see the instructions for use (IFU) to see if there are the normal 5 instruments listed (as for RT-QPCR), or only Roche instrument(s).
2 It is unclear whether the H-T product uses Exsig™ Direct, the RNA extraction reagent that
a) removes the need for complex, automated magnetic extraction systems, and
b) does not require the hard to find reagent materials.
Logically the H-T product would use Exsig™ Direct, but the company has never said this.
This is why we need the IFU that the company is sitting on.
Given we are rightly pleased that it appears the company has spread its sales not to be over reliant on any one market out with the uk, what would the rational be of selling all the new product to Roche? Unless it was designed specifically for them but that doesn't seem to be the case. Any thoughts.
Shaun, 07:54 today :
"One good possibility is that Jack has prepared videos for the new "mobile" testing platform
Only a guess, but mobile testing is due to be launched in July
Therefore expect some news next week".
Another possibility is that a video has been prepared to show how quickly large amounts of swab samples can be processed using the COVID H-T (High Throughput) product.
This would be of interest to those countries who have and have not approved Primerdesign products, and large independent labs in developed countries.
The RT-PCR kit has been tested by Primerdesign and several instrument manufacturers, (listed on instructions for use (IFU)), but it has not been cofirmed if the IFU is the same for the High Throughput kit. gggg21 stated the H-T kit was for Roche only, so maybe the video is to sell to Roche instrument users, (lots of those world wide).
If gggg21 is right and its Roche only, then Roche will have tested the H-T kit with their H-T instrument(s), and it is therefore logical that Roche might be selling the COVID H-T kit to their customer base, but we need evidence of this, and a video would be great.
If South America is diagnosing so many RECENTLY, perhaps thats the link to a video in Spanish that we know about, but I cannot be sure.
Graham Mullis - Final Results for the year ended 31 December 2019, 14.05.2020:
Graham first announces new H-T product thus:
"High throughput COVID-19 tests will be available in bulk format with each kit containing 1,536 tests for use in 384 well format instead of the smaller 96 well plate format. This product will be very helpful for large high-throughput clinical laboratories and will launch in June 2020."
Agree Shaun, news required soon.
He keeps referring to confidentiality. However using the following of the share to promote his own company (can’t blame him, why not).
Has got me thinking, could this be a professional investors presentation, making clearer the complexed science behind the tests & Exsig products? Are we having boardroom meetings where a professional shoot would match with the professional team & superior product?
Just a thought ...
I wonder. Does he mean hes wrapped up filming only and is still needs to edit etc, or does he mean the whole thing is done and he has given them master copies of the film wtc?
Well spotted Greg.
I've just taken a further top up here with a few sliced off EUA..
Ready to watch this unravel!!
FYI. Jack Taylor who has been working with novacyt on video series that we still haven’t seen just posted on Instagram story that his project is wrapped up now....
