May logic prevail and shorters burn in hell
Question; Is Ncyt trading significantly higher than its cash value?
As expected some of the "pond life" continuing to post here calling impending doom. Position is really not that bad as painted they just want to keep telling you it is..... and telling you again.... oh and telling you some more....
If you are a holder and have any concerns, read the Valuation notes here:-

Anyone trying to short a stock on >X1 needs medical help frankly..
They will likely have some shorts set up late Friday and may even add some more at Open in the hope of making a few quid but these all have to be brought back. IMO The SP may be volatile tomorrow but it's going to bounce back north of £ 5.50 fairly quick so use this period to add if you can afford to and hopefully give any shorter's a spanking.
Finally, You can be confident in knowing that this business isn't going bust any time soon. It has over £ 130m cash at bank and if it was sold tomorrow it would be worth significant multiples of where it is now even on a discounted basis. So hold the faith, this is a long way from over, £ 35m non DHSC revenues in the first quarter.... amazing..

@Soder
LMOL, the rascal, I had no idea, Look at it as a form of flattery.
As a positive though at least a number of us are all on the same page, whichever way you do a fundamental valuation calculation you can clearly see what a totally ridiculous joke the mcap sits at currently.

Lol. That blackbird guy copied my analysis from Friday that I posted on here!!! The swine.
Do we know what kind of capacity and output we are working to?
With all these new and brilliant products surely there is only so many of each they can produce.
That being said, selling certain products to the government may be holding NCYT back from making better profits if they instead supply to the overseas market. Maybe NCYT would prefer not to have tied into big contracts that the gov can’t stick too
I read posts from those who I know are invested and didn't appear like a pack of hyenas to talk the share down. We know Mullis is conservative and we also know he will do everything within his power to not be taken advantage of. I fully support him and the company. Do not expect details of the precise area of dispute as they will not be and cannot be forthcoming whist possible litigation may need to take place. He and Nova have proven time after time they can deliver and fast. My monies on this looking very different very soon. Fundamentals rule this company doesnt need placing, this company was used by UNICEF for a 10mm contract in Jan and needs just one decent contract to be back on track with Angel's and Numis's blue sky predictions, one decent contract and that is now what they will be focused on. K
Bump stay off his/her negative thread, people who invest in a share generally try to put positive spin on things, bit like Blackbirds excellent piece done minus dhsc contract we await the trolls pulling apart of that....oh wait.
agreed Porky
The discussion on the dispute has been done to death. Only being kept alive by shorter's with specific agenda.
What's important now is the Revenue opportunities going forwards. It was impressive to see that circa 42m in quarter one was other clients, fantastic, they will keep building on this going forwards.
Be a good idea to keep this thread alive should any REAL shareholders visit here and want a read up on the valuation and opportunity here. Rather than waste time reading targeted posts to create negativity and encourage holders to sell - its hard enough as it is at the moment.
I remain positive despite how dire Fridays RNS is, here's to a better week

To sell out now is to take advice from a Lemming.
The market may play with this but the real market will buy the products. CFO in S.America speaks volumes.
Nov knew the contract was likely dead a long time agonand will have been compensating.
Sell now and live with the consequences.
Hold faith and patience in turmoil with FACTS in hand. Multiple possibilities and markets/contracts but extraordinary resilience and patience needed by the shareholder.
@Porky
Thanks for the link to Blackbird's excelkent article. This provides more in depth calculations and supporting evidence. [A must read for all holders and potential investors.] In the cold light of day it looks like many of us have reached similar conclusions and are now singing from the same hymsheet. No panic nessary; ignore the deramping; this has huge intrinsic value. My £15 SP predictions is only a steppingstone for the current year, but I am looking much longer term and I won't be taking any profit until at least twice that price, so strong is my conviction.
@shaunp
Thanks for your kind words - yes, a metaphorically long and hot summer ahead. Novacyt is provider of quality ice cream with the capability of satisfying the desire for a full range of flavours!
25%+ gain tomorrow coming
Excellent link Porky, thank you for that. Much more in-depth than my own research but coming to some of the same conclusions, though I lean a little more toward the bearish case which is still a value way beyond what this has dropped to.
Nice one Porky9 - sounds like the sentiment of many of us still holding. I expect price to drop further tomorrow but pick up end of week as reality dawns. Pity I have no more cash to invest. Doubtless GM is working his socks off to fine tune the next major RNS outlining the path ahead. He sounded excited -- let's hope it also enthuses the market!
Before anyone accuses me of being the same person as Blackbird Investing, I can tell you 100% that i am not BUT i do share the exact same logic and use a very similar valuation metric as this investor.

Some can de-ramp further here and predict impending doom BUT review the above Valuation blog, there is still a lot more in play here. Give it chance. I totally back and agree with the Valuation.
