smokie&mirrors - Are you still looking for an example! In the meantime, I thought I would prepare a lovely little limerick to lighten the mood, one which might also appeal to your sense of fun!
There once was a man called Smokie
Who liked to tell the odd porkie
But when he was rumbled
His mask slipped and crumbled
And now he's no longer that jokey!
Smokie, I do hope you keep to your claim that it will be your last post, unlike the last time when you left with a deramping post only to return 24 hours later. I'm sure we'll see you again under some other guise, as is the norm for the agenda driven posters.
smokie&mirrors - I'm going to have to put you to prove again before you you trot off!
You say: 'If you think back, I have challenged people, and latterly it has happened often to be you, for making ridiculous claims about this share, and for trying to silence anyone who spoke against it.'
Now, give me a specific example of a ridiculous claim that I have made about this stock (not share) and how you challenged it? Over to you.
Last post here. I wasn't going to but your unpleasantly smug response really grates Van. I don't think I have ever been rude to you yet you've managed it all the time recently.
Nothing I have said here over the weeks is changed by my one small lie yesterday about the timing of my sale. Absolutely nothing. Even if I was in a fantasy world, that changes nothing about what I've been doing here.
If you think back, I have challenged people, and latterly it has happened often to be you, for making ridiculous claims about this share, and for trying to silence anyone who spoke against it.
For the good reasons of solid research and well informed posts you have built a loyal following, and I see a number of those are relatively new investors who may be persuaded rather more easily than others.
My comments have mostly been intended to bring some balance to the continual promotion of this share and the ridiculous and endless repetition of what others would see as pumping messages, or to question the expectation of many which appeared to be that a rise/RNS whatever was imminent.
I stuck to it, even though I have been wrongly accused of de-ramping on a number of occasions as a result, whereas others have stuck to repeating yet again the sales figures, cash in hand blah blah. Those are the people in fantasy worlds, not me.
With respect, I do think that the current SP shows that my questioning was perfectly valid, at least in the short term.
I understand that you have had a great break in this share (note I am not saying lucky): well done you. And as I've said on a number of occasions I still think this company had value - and I currently think it is undervalued.
I wish I hadn't unnecessarily given you the ammunition which played directly into your hands as I still think there is a place on this board for someone to challenge. It's just such a shame you decided to make it personal and it is ending for me now.
Good luck to all posters here, whether or not they are shareholders.
smokie&mirrors - ******. Its all unravelled and you have come unstuck.
What a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. Don't worry, you can now start working on your next fantasy and your next avatar before you come back. G.L.!
Smokie, as Van has pointed out, your post about selling and buying back in is a complete fantasy. This is not the first time you've become muddled in your trail of lies. I don't ramp this share as you state, I'm more interested in making people aware of posters such as yourself with an agenda.
OK you got me there, I sold yesterday at about 11:48 for £2.99 (and now I look it was £2.97 and bits, yet another porker) but said it was later so I could continue to discuss here without the petty squabbling over whether I am entitled to say anything if I'm not invested.
You win, you own me. Well done on the research. I'm going to do the honorable thing and depart this board forever.
One thing for sure - I won't miss it, and that's no lie :-)
Smokie&mirrors - I'm pleased you have gone for the small window of opportunity that I gave you. That is the last 14 minutes of trading yesterday because when you posted at 16:16 you had not sold, allegedly. But in doing so, you have provided clear evidence of the fact that you lied in your earlier post when you claimed to have sold yesterday at '£3 dead on'. You could not have sold at this price yesterday during the last 14 minutes of trading because the sale price being offered was circa £2.68. As for credibility, yours has just evaporated. Johny19 nailed you yesterday, and your falsehood you has been exposed fully today. I repeat, you could not have sold out at £3 in the last 14 minutes yesterday.
Van and Johnny, I get that you both must be a bit disappointed to see your profits fall today when you both ramp so hard but it's a bit harsh to take it out on me.
FWIW your perception of me is totally wrong. However Van if, as you say, you like put people to proof please prove what you have said about me. If you don't want to or can't do that just be abusive again, I can take it. :-)
Johnny, at least Van has some credibility here and at one time had respect from me for the effort he put into some of his posts. You seem to be just interested in stirring. But just look back to when you first said that, and I explained the situation to you yesterday. Just repeating the same lie does not make it any more true. You have not caught me out at anything.
Lastly I don't have to justify myself but last thing last night I sold all my NCYT and decided to move on. However following today's fall I have bought back (a still quite sizeable) half @ towards the end of the day. I have confidence that this SP is too low for this company.
Paulorufus - I've been more than fair with you and, given your alleged AIM experience, the question wasn't too difficult. I can't think of another AIM-listed stock in the last five years that has been as cash generative as NCYT. It's funny how there is nothing coming back from you when you are put to proof!
Vanv, I fear any discussion with you would be a waste of My time so all the best and feel free to ignore me,
johny19 - these liars and fantasists do not like being rumbled. You were spot on yesterday with smokie and mirrors!
Paulorufus - I'm not interested in silly arguments either, but I do like to put people to proof! So, as an experienced AIM investor, can you point me to an AIM-listed company in recent years that has been as cash generative as Novacyt is now? As for your perception of my perception of 'today's losses', then you need to understand that I have a healthy margin to play with here because of my entry price. This share is nowhere near its true value and the value that would be ascribed to a 'leading, global diagnostics business'
Smokie still smarting from the earlier post showing him up as a complete liar for a second day in a row. No shame.
There you go again Van, playing the man not the ball.
Why can you not just respect the views of others?
Tut tut Vanv, can't you just refrain from reposting the fantasist's older posts and just let them lie in peace :)
Paulo, I will continue to monitor this share too just like everyone else here and will definitely be buying more if this goes to 2.30-2.40's again.
It's not exactly rocket science .
1. High cash income
2. clearing existing loans much sooner
3. therefore no debt
4. ongoing product sales to so many buyers
5 director buys
Updated revenue incoming and then we will see.
Hi vanv, I’ve no time to have a silly argument so you can feel better about today’s losses.
I will continue to monitor this share and any new developments.
VanV: he's been on and off investing for years but only a member here since 20 April 2020... Yeah right.
Watch his predictions crumble. Even a broken clock...etc.
Paulorufus - What was your loss here when you sold? When you say that AIM has treated you very well over the years, that sounds like a defensive, face-saving comment. If you're no longer invested here, then perhaps you ought to save your commentary for a stock that you are invested in, instead of trying to engender fear in those invested in NCYT. All imo.
Thanks for your thought but AIM has treated me very well over the years so I’ll continue to make investments when I see fit.
PauloRufus - By your own admission, you are a very jittery investor. Here's what you posted on 1st June. AIM is probably not for you!
RE: Still holding 01 Jun 2020 23:09
In my humble opinion aim investing is a very difficult market to read.
So I’m 41 and I’ve been investing on and off for years,
At first I’d buy at highs, then c44ap myself at lows and sell, therefore losing money. I actually lost money on fevertree !!
Reposted from last evening
Paulorufus - the thing that strikes me about you is that you come across as a jittery and agitated investor. You are better off avoiding AIM companies because they are definitely not for the faint hearted. Once you have exited a stock, you then aim to engender in others the same anxiety that you felt while you were invested by attempting to spread fear among those who remain. Seasoned investors, however, will continue to focus on the fundamentals here, realising how undervalued this company really is even when one applies a conservative P/E multiplier!
Hmm I wonder what they might say?
Probably just that they know of no reason for the SP pressure.
Has anyone contacted the company for a comment??
Actually the chart tagged the uptrend support twice today. Once to tag it 2nd time to retest it and it held up.
Think we will see a resumption of the uptrend and new highs in time
