A Ferrari should always be rosso corsa (race red) in my opinion.
To add to this as indicated above
- GOOD VIBES
- The euphoric vibes when its moving at 10-12% a day is everyone talking about the colour of Ferrari they are ordering.
- Oh this is once in a lifetime, brag stories about buying at 3pence and holding 25,000 shares
- Lots of hi5's and back slaps, plus the odd story about 'topping up' and their average (despite it probably be 7/8quid, is still only £1.63 but they've only been on the board for 2months - err yeah).
BAD VIBES
Then when it drops we get the opposing views, its a poor stock
The neysayers - oh that's it, Im glad I sold and took my £300million profit - scumbag air of entitlement comments etc
Doom merchants explaining how other Covid developments mean its game over and we are all doomed forever.
MM games are apparent,MM's are signalling to their 'mates',
ooooh an RNS is coming because its dropping and I am an expert
To be honest you could apply that many stocks, its primitive behaviour of the board and it truly shows that 75-80% of it is pub chat.
In a real sense, the factual position
For me:-
This grew hugely based on the status of the business and perhaps rightly so. I would say it grew beyond expectancy.
Covid is here for many years, there is no vaccine that will provide an immediate close out
Testing is essential and NCYT have a good way of engaging in that field
Orders and indeed value of the business is good
Investments guess what go up and down and sometimes their is no logic to it, volatily in this Index is common and sadly a part of life.
MM's do play games, but cant be used as a tool to frustrate us all
Voilumes in this stock are pretty on the whole encouraging.
The CEO of the business is credible and has a vision/ strategy
Research is key and you can see the stock pushed 500s earlier in the year and then dropped off, I think we are in that volatile stage which I reckon will be mixed until more clarity is given over an RNS.
Do I feel there is a treeshake, in some elements yes, however a bit of knicker wetting and people buying in at 1000's gloating as it pushes up 3/4% that day and then drops is inevitable. That is a gamble in any stock and short term views here I think will be very hit or miss.
I see the long term view as still positive. £50 chat now seems like a distant laugh from last week and I'll hold the view this could see teens by xmas.
Hold if you can, fold if your happy and gloat if you like gloating.
Enjoy the journey!

Has he not passed the breath test ??
Triumph1 does visit a lot of boards. Checking on his Boiler Room mates no dought ! If we all filter him he will end up talking to himself. Use filter button now.
The new test you mention is not new news. There are middle eastern companies already from several months ago with the same tech. It's news currently in the market. Since that time the share price has quadrupled.
There are a lot of potential new technologies and not all will succeed and those companies often say themselves that they are complementary to PCR. See you have done your research. Airports very unlikely to adopt as not currently approved Lft tests which have higher accuracy than a breath test.
I see you are a trader as well from your Iag board rinse and repeat as you say shame you missed this one the biggest riser of the year - all the best traders got in.
You are wrong again about most being traders here have you not been reading the board the long term holders even many from under £1 are relaxed and have posted here.
@triumph1
Look you have a vested interest in covid breath test tech but it’s currently not proven, it’s not a finished product as it’s still in dev and it needs capital to develop it. We need products ready now.
In addition, there is a heck of a difference between manufacturing and distribution of finished products in an established supply chain than trying build a new one from scratch
So please peddle your other stock somewhere else
Well it was only a few days ago that 150 predicted the SP on Christmas Eve :
Over 50% saying it would be more than £23
Anybody changed their mind, and if so, why ??
Triumph1
Interesting perspective.
Businesses always have competition, and new test methodologies will come along.
However, NCYT equipment is pretty much embedded in the methodology of the NHS and that will take some shifting. It will happen if the new tests are good enough but will take time.
NCYT will have several options.
R and D new tests themselves. Plenty of cash to do that.
Buy some of the competitors. Again plenty of cash.
So, either way, its a win.
One thing is for certain. testing is going to be around for years.
Stop thinking just UK.
How do counties such as Australia, New Zealand etc who have totally closed access get out of that?
Not with a vaccine. That's too slow now and too unreliable.
The answer is testing, lots of it.
Enjoy your day.
You mean the stuff NCYT about to bring out?
More research needed!
Triumph1 filtered - can’t believe I didn’t see his rubbish earlier
The drift has been repeatedly seen before. A quick rise, no news, and a drift. The fact that the whole ftse is falling adds to this. I’ve sat here in the past watching it plummet. It’s always been the same though. Nothing has changed for the negative with the company, therefore this will shoot up again. There is far too much positive information and product, so sit on hands and chill. Don’t make decisions based on movement over a few days. Wait til the next piece of news, for it is surely coming soon. Hope this allays concerns.
It's so interesting to see the stark differences in the board depending on the price action at that time:
- Price is rising - It's like a massive love-in and everyone is bouncing around like tigger as they're all so excited and this will be £500 by tomorrow.
- Price is falling - It's the apocalypse and so many newbies appear who are questioning why it's falling or that they "can't see any reason for it to increase from here"
Yet in both of those scenarios the fundamentals of the company remain the same, the amazing research remains the same - and the core holders/ posters maintain the same message of solidarity. It's such a shame that you have to wade through all the tosh to read posts by the core BB users and to interact with them.
Ricki1991 if you're interested read the Rns's
Read the great research and leads on here twitter and the novacyt insider, if you don't that's your loss in my opinion. Regards Wilson.
Just looking to get everyone’s thoughts on whether they think this share will continue to rise gradually or slowly fall, I’m struggling to see any significant rises with new ways of testing imminent i.e antigen saliva based rapid testing?
