Sorry but have reported this as defamatory
No , wrong year , different product.
Wasn’t the approval process what the private eye article was allegedly about ?
Have you been drinking again JR? I think you should delete your last post before you get kicked off.
Pure speculation - best keep this comment to yourself.
JRDC, could you please explain what was fraudulent about the way NCYT went about approval?
Dhsc have too many similar disputes against them . Ncyt talk a load of lies most of the time but they might have a case here
Seriously Louis.. come on man…
Novacyt are not dragging this out, the DHSC is in the driving seat on this and clearly believe they have a strong case.
On a different subject, I had an email link today from IG index to vote on the July AGM. Interestingly this is the first time I have had that, Nova must be putting pressure on all brokers to make voting easier.
Louis the outstanding dispute erodes the share price making a takeover cheaper. Although the BoD are doing that regardless, so any outcome will have little effect on the SP over the medium term. Having a good product and cash in the bank and a BoD destroying the SP should actually make NCYT a big takeover target. I just hope someone arrives soon before NCYT starts eating itself to survive.
Don't think either theory Louis , here is a third , there may be some mileage in. Looking at who was used instead , think Randox won a lot of contracts and those have definitely come under scrutiny with regards to who benefitted. That could equally be wrong.
The GLP posted during the week it is now in possession of information pertaining to VIP fast tracking. Be an interesting read if/when they publish it.
Would love some inf on why Innova kept winning contracts even against the backdrop of issues with the tests ( FDA pulling ) But so far there appears to be no appetite to pursue the Chinese contracts. The reason given will be cost. What price a life eh !
@ Covidopportunist... whilst I don't think the DHSC started this with the aim of stopping NCYT being bought out, I think there may be something in NCYT dragging this out to stop potential takeover by keeping the uncertainty alive... who knows?!
Not been on for quite some time as nothing here but to wait for it to improve.
However that has to be up there as one of the most ridiculous posts I have seen so far, and there has been a lot!
So you are saying that the DHSC has a dispute with a publicly listed company that is mainly in the hands of French investors, just so that it can’t be bought by another company.
What is just as bad is that is got 4 upvotes!
Please excuse me if the view from across the pond is far astray. It seems that given DHSC abysmal record in the pandemic including the purchase of questionable Chinese testing supplies, I would not be surprised if this whole dispute was more about leverage and keeping an innovative testing company from being bought out during the pandemic. I think the claim did a pretty good job of scaring away potential suitors. What was the figure GM originally felt the claim warranted. 20 mil I believe. They have made concessions that are more than adequate, I believe.

£100m cash out was not the general consensus on here. I don't believe anyone has supported such a figure with logical maths. It's much lower than £100m. Maybe you are letting your negative mindset cloud your judgement.
It’s a sweeping statement but from what I’ve read from you and others with your fag packet calculations, it isn’t far off £100m. Factor in a completely ruined reputation (covid firm rips off DHSC during a public health crisis etc)and we’re then starting to use what is left to pay for the additional costs we’ve taken on, because there’ll be little, if any, revenue
PI100,
"If we lose the dispute ncyt is all but finished, certainly the share price. Will have no cash"
You've stated it now so re the cash can you share your calculation of how you arrived at this conclusion please. TIA
Money man- the thread is literally about what happens if we lose. Should the answer be the SP will rise to £10?
The efforts of the few, to dissuade the many, are not for the fun of it... imo?
Happy to wait n see what pans out, over the next few months, into Dec and beyond?
£3 plus again imo
I already queried whether there was sufficient financial provision to cover the DHSC dispute previously. There is and not only that, if those reserves are released and the counterclaim succeeds in whole or part, it would be very positive for cash flow.
P100 duh. You’ve come on here stating the obvious. What a cl0wn
If we lose the dispute ncyt is all but finished, certainly the share price. Will have no cash, barely any income streams and a ruined reputation. Let’s hope this does not come to fruition.
I would really be worried if Nova did lose the dispute with the government, not because of what it would do to the SP but would bring home just how incompetent the BOD’s are.
This government are a complete shambles and I think their record of winning cases in contract disputes are very remote.
If Nova couldn’t tie up a panicking government department with a contract in their favour during a pandemic then serious questions would be asked.
Apart from faulty goods (which was not the case here) I would be shocked if we lost.
Looking forward to what the Judge awards us in costs over and above ,INOWDO.
Whats is everyone view on share price if dispute goes against Novacyt? I know we are trading pretty much at cash now but I think there is real concern over company image and trust with customers and shareholders. Will that be the final strike and takes nova back down to pre covid levels of interest?
