Is it not priced in, I would have expected a cash balance like this, not a surprise.
They will need it for all the manufacturing there planning on doing.
Phew, SP has started upwards.
As news builds perhaps the dam will burst.
But there is something counter intuitive about the SP movement isn't there? Is it a trap for investors unable for there to be a dividend because Eiffel controls over 50% of voting rights? Is the issued share capital too small to attract II? What is it? Why isn't the SP improved by news like yesterday? Was France such a disappointment? I hope the cash balance reported today & early repayment of debt can't further reduce the SP today, can it?
It's OK, he made his six quid, lol
Cooorrr imagine selling yesterday lmao
Jdc - that’s why I said it could be viewed as both positive and negative.
Personally I think it’s good that we can part ship on order placement in a competitive market place you don’t want potential customers going elsewhere because your lead time is too long.
Ghia - sounds like they're clearing a backlog of orders. If they can't deliver within a reasonable time frame then they won't get the order. Currently producing 8m / £40m of tests a month. £80m orders waiting to be delivered, production wise we are likely full until end of July, unless capacity is increased before then.
Many countries in South America, middle East need tests right now so quicker we get capacity the better, and I reckon the US will be our next big customer esp with the new test.
Cheers fella
Paul, you’ve sold out and topped up in AVCT which potentially has no news or product until July / Aug. Congrats.
Hi WL
To answer your question I’m not panicking, I’ve sold today after the unprofessional RN leak last night and the shocking update. Biggest news is a Zimbabwe contract for a tiny amount and isn’t even paid up!!!! Come on!!
That’s like saying baldrick promises to give bus a million quid next month after he has created gold.
It’s the worlds worst update, followed with no orders from their home country’s government and then no details about profits or Egypt.
Then we need to look at the PHE order which constitutes 75 percent of their business, which will be , I imagine will not be renewed after the emergence of instant test kits so will give 6 months income but no more……
I’m not sure what value people see here’s part from 3 months of a halo product.
Paul,
I'm trying to work out if your post is meant to be complicated or confusing? I really don't mean to wind you up here but let's be honest it reaks of panic!
I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the performance of this company.
It’s not tho, as the price dictates.
They will use the money to pay debts and finally become profitable, then reinvest in R&D that will provide future returns, not immediate. Then in a few months their, already out of date tests will be irrelevant and they will be back to normal.
What crazy future do you see?
Because unless it’s immediate proof tests then there is no future,
Why on earth would people require lab kits vs immediate response kits?
The cost is the same, come the second wave no one will look at novacyt ( unless they accept purchase orders from the democratic republic of Congo )
I provided my thoughts in the other thread but obviously the sellers and non holders prefer to use this one. 200m mcap is far to cheap simple.
By the way, to win X tender part of the conditions would be to deliver X by X date....hence the stock and then X at another date you could take that they are being maxed out and explains the £10m plus
Paulorufus, and just how did the income from sales compare from last December to now? I’d say they did well, but If you buy as a shareholder, you need to do it at the right time. You’d be smiling then.
Gggg21 - what do you see as the crucial next steps for NCYT? They need something to get the share price moving in the right direction.
Rightly or wrongly the market is underwhelmed to date with the news in hand.
Oh no I made a typo, I’m melting! Arhhhhhhhh
You are right PauloRufus.
Awful and awkward RNA.
And many misteries,
As regards Zimbabwe, the 2nd market for Nova (!!!) was wondering whether there was not OMS behind.
24H00 delivery cannot hide the fact that they have not enough requests.
The reason why they are angry after France.
But they will never get France.
And we kow that for more than 2 months.
What an angry sad little man you are paul. Also what is an rna? Glad we can also take you aren't the sharpest TOOL in the box eh
No problem Phil
I’m devastated but will, in time, get over it.
Please feel free to dispute or intellectually debate my main points instead of -
Deramper
MM manipulating the share price
RNS incoming
Up to the moon
Huge sales incoming
USA is the key
Etc
Etc
This was the most important RNA they needed to release and it started with Zimbabwe ordering a ting amount via a PO ( good luck billing them ) and then no contract with the french government ( french company ) and then no other meaningful information.
This was an awful RNA and the market reacted accordingly, this will dip lower and lower at the 5 percent a day decline it’s been having and considering they will inevitably swallow all profits into Making up their negative balance I see it falling into the 110 - 120 point.
The rises have been had, the steady decline has begun, which was expected for a company trading on a one time profit opportunity.
If the pandemic carries on it won’t be about accuracy it will be about time. Instant vs 24 hours
There is no future business here IMO and management is shoddy at best as we’ve seen.
Paulorrufus... I have a substantial chunk of these (by my standards at least), am an avid reader of the board, and prefer to hold all my shares as a man in the shadows. However, for you, I'm going to make an exception...
You were a real nob last night. And you're a real nob tonight. Both probably because you are a real nob.
I echo Rhino4real... Bye!
What a pathetic deramping attempt! Bye
Interesting that they could ship 500,000 tests immediately suggests they are ahead of the curve manufacturing wise and now have stock.
That can be seen as both a positive and a negative.
No probs
They weren’t cheap they have been that price for ages. Good luck with them, looking forward to the next RNS… maybe you will sell something to Greenland or Mars haha.
Thanks, I bought your cheap shares.
