Agreed their gasman, it's been pushed down to a price no one has any interest to sell at, so it's not possible for them to manipulate it much. That said not so much buying interest whilst it's flat until we get a catalyst.
Today and Friday there was no obvious manipulation on either exchange either during hours or before or after the bell. It looks like those who wanted to play have moved on and now the sp just needs a catalyst.
@Bluelight
Unfortunately some people (idiots) also vote for proven idiots and liars and give them positions of great power which they then think they have the right to abuse.
I added a decent amount of shares again this morning, it showed up as a sell though, again. Really cant pay any attention to the trades.
Only signal for buys is if the SP is going up.
JRDC, how long have you been invested here?
What you have posted about no information is absolute tosh. For goodness sake go back and read the last few RNS's properly because your lack of knowledge is frankly embarrassing.
Trades.. a mixed bag.! The automatic trades have really slowed down but there are still some medium sized sells going through. I mention this because the friday before the last one we had a 70k buy after the close.
When a company has taken a fall like this one, has no debt and is still making 7 million of revenue a month it could quite easily be on someone's radar and the rise from these levels excellant. That's why the observant should be watching the trades in case they change. It could be a very sudden strong breakout.
JRDC, Five weeks ago NCYT published their annual report, which was absolutely pack with detail. The 2020 results RNS the week before that contained a trading update.
Rns statements show very recent new products
I think GM had hoped to retire with Nova as a billion £ company, unfortunately I think he's realised that could be some time off and the dispute is either unlikely to be resolved any time soon, or with an unfavourable outcome so wants to 'own it' and let the new guy start with a clean slate. Last month was the first time in 12 months we've had no product launches or trading update, so I think GM has realised he's taken Nova as far as he can (which TBF has been absolutely transformational the last 18 months and made a lot of investors very rich). If Nova are to ever become a £bn company over next 5 - 10 years without relying on covid then I think fresh eyes and ideas will help.
Of course, this time frame could be much sooner should an escape variant take hold and the world is back to square one. I imagine less focus will be made on the UK, and US markets will be key over next 12 months. If you said in 5 years time we'll still be making £30-40m EBITA that would be amazing
We’ve had a very low volume of trades , very small volume of chat , not much on twitter and not a lot in the telegram group I am in either .
Let’s see if CLR123’s theory was correct in all the lack of interest meaning the traders have moved on and found another share to manipulate and corrupt.
Not much else going on at the moment .
Time will tell .
Harchris. Narrow bars are some of the worst. Converted from the old style terrace house. Into play comes someone who has been drinking for hours and is not sensible anymore. I had a situation nearly 2 weeks back and now I am more carefull. Sometimes the effects of an infection are for many months.
Treating people like adults and allowing them to make good decisions is one of the main reasons NCYT will have large covid income for many many years to come. Put simply many people are idiots. Bad for the world, good for the NCYT coffers.
Yes I would say it probably is a little selfish. I'm not sure sticking a mask on for a few minutes in a shop would stop you putting you and your family first but otherwise I agree, I think we should have the choice. Going forward I will probably wear masks in places that are small and considered essential, the cornershop, tesco express etc. There might be people in there that have no choice but to pop in and are still a little scared.
A busy, lively bar? If others aren't I imagine I won't either.
The issue with unvaccinated students who naturally will congregate togeather indoors is that time is not on the governments side.
With the time interval between jabs and most students back in September , they need to have already had their first jab. The govt will know exact numbers for those that have and via antibody tests will be trying to evaluate the size of the issue potentially , as we enter flu season too. There will be a drive to rejab all vunerable , I posted details last week. It is a balancing act with the fear of the NHS being overwhelmed again. We all know testing will be a permenant part of our lives for many years to come and we just have to hope that we can control the spread of any new variants. In the interim I look forward to hearing more about how Novacyt intend to diversify and how the new CEO intends to drive the business forward.
A New York listing will be high on the agenda.
Maybe harchris but personally I no longer wear one… for no other reason than I don’t want to. Does that make me selfish? Maybe. But forcing people to wear one when they don’t want to is not selfish then? Agree it’s about consideration of others but I’m at the point where I feel it’s time to put me and my family first. if people do co to ur to wear them (and so so many are) to maybe protect themselves that’s great but it’s got to be about free choice now.
And for that reason I think testing will be around for much longer than I personally ever expected.
I do think the government should make more of an effort to stress the importance and selflessness of wearing masks in indoor public places, on that front it's disappointing.
I agree with Soder that on the whole this is as good as it's going to get. I know a good few vulnerable people who recognise that the world can't continue to stop to protect them and have said they will, when necessary going forward, take a step back from society when cases surge as they inevitably will.
More will need to be done to continue to protect the most vulnerable that can't take that step back independently ie care home residents and I'd like to see those most at risk in the future given special protections when cases peak. And of course boosters are evidently going to be needed.
It hopefully won't be too long til novacyt starts to distance itself more from 'covid stock' as that imo is still holding us back.
Sorry, I see where Porky9 is coming from. Those that know keep their distance and mask up whether they are vaxed or not. There are some that simply take ‘freedom day’ just as that and not respect those that want to exercise caution. If they want to get covid then do so without risking others.
I dont think people have been convinced at all. I think people just want to be treated as adults that know the risks and can make THEIR OWN de idioms around them. Wr have to get on with our lives. Life is not a longevity contest. We will never get zero covid.
@Porky9, BJ and his brown nosers have managed to convince a sector of the electorate that are easily led and think we are out of the woods. There is a lot of ignorance out there and politicians are not helping.
Changing the subject we had a cross ramper trying to drum up interest in Proteome Sciences plc as a possible M&A. Had a quick look and could be of interest, what I liked was the PE ratio!
:-)
Yes, and so 74% of people infected in Massachusetts had already been vaccinated and that's based on the Delta variant.
Meanwhile, that Variant tearing through Florida is this new Columbian variant and half the state is fully vaccinated. It will be interesting to see the data as it unfolds regarding the percentage fully vaccinated that caught it.
That's why we need to slow down on totally ditching masks. Some people just can't grasp the simple fact that even vaccinated you can still spread the virus to others. I went to my local Spa shop tonight, there was about 8 people in there and and two serving and i was the only one in the shop with a mask on.
Test test test and test again!

If GM manages to put a line thru dhsc so new bloke has clean slate then his mission accomplished
From small change to £12 I think he should be languishing in glory it's our own fault we didn't lock in some profits ??
Next chapter now and I'm happy enough to hold til it fruits
No debts and own all our tech etc patience will be rewarded eventually ??
I agree Donnertrader but we now expect that to change , if this new chap is a marketing expert then the whole tone of them should be more upbeat with a lot more blowing our own trumpet.
I do think G.M will go out on one last big hurrah ( bear trap) place your bets .
