Let's not forget this year there has been zero marketing, I would expect the revenue jump in 2022 from 2021 will be significant. Its not what has happened in the past, but what could be, or will be delivered in the future that matters. A multi music offering should have some attraction to new subscribers.
Consider that for every million new subscribers (assuming a global offering in all major markets), is about U$100m of annual revenue. How many new subscribers could there be? 1m, 2m, 3m, or more?
One thing is certain, £33m valuation today is very wrong.
Just my view.
Just my view.
Napster's revenue worldwide from 2015 to 2021 (in million U.S. dollars)
Characteristic Revenue in million U.S. dollars
2021 90.86 (estimate based on half year report - would also include other revenue streams 'melodyvr app')
2020 ?
2019 106.3
2017 172.4
2016 208.1
2015 202
well i think thats right skeletor, but if not I'm sure someone will correct me in due course.
Thanks - Sounds like dollars vs GBP is my main culprit here although possibly other things as well. Cheers
i think we were hoping for $100m which is about £73m, so not too far off. a while ago i posted about the potential accounting treatment of businesses which have large volumes of pre paid subscriptions, which may have to be revalued when a business is taken over, and which can result in an apparent large reduction in revenue in the initial periods after the change.im no accountant so this may have no application here (if there are any accountants who can comment i would be interested), but it may be that revenues are much in line with expectations, hence the lack of reaction.
Hi
1st half revenue was £32m. I seem to remember we expected the annual revenue of napster to be £100m but there wasn't an outcry when the £32m got posted in results.... Is this because we expect H2 toe be £68m or do I have the £100m wrong in the 1st place?
The evidence is here on this website, go to the EVRH forum for those GMA dates and read the comments from those of us that actually tried to connect and failed. 1st hand knowledge rather than looking for news articles from years before you were invested and then posting them up as 'news' when the majority of posters here have been invested (and underwater) way before GMA. The sp was around 6p then too and we all thought that was ****e and could only go up, how stupid we were.
A Gilded turd!
Ah now there’s another story real networks have sold / moved the exact amount of shares into Rhapsody not sure why ???
thanks for the reply CB.im not in the telegram group so can't see it,but glad to hear it confirms N%G and gore (hadnt spotted he wasn't on marker screens print).not surprised Realnetworks are selling down always thought they would and expect them to continue for some time.
The.Italian
i have also seen this today
https://prnt.sc/1w610h2 it looks very promising for Napster but like anything we see and find do your own research :)
GLA
The.Italian market screen isnt 100% correct as it shows different names etc it also dosent show John Gore holdings of 128,397,070 seen the Investor report on Napster today its upto date 14th sept
it shows Nice & Green SA on it market screen could be a typo
sorry i am not putting it on here but you can see it in here
https://t.me/NapsterShareInvestorChannelChat
good luck :)
croydonboys just trying to get the current shareholdings straight in my mind.here is an analysis which looks up to date by market screener https://www.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/NAPSTER-GROUP-PLC-27723931/company/ it shows real networks down to 5.85& with173,199,625. matters not helped by the fact that they obviously pay no attention to reporting requirements. anyone any idea why N&G's holding is listed under Afarak group Oyj, a finish company? probably just a mistake but very odd.
Rumfuddle all i am asking is can you back up your claims its not hard if your a LTH and know your investment inside out,
just like ive tried backing mine up :)
but you want to insult me, tut tut by saying i know **** all
see another fact youve got wrong i've been here more than 2 mins
Well I was here, invested and watching concerts like other LTH. Whilst you've been here 2 minutes and know **** all.
Rumfuddle sorry i cant see any info that there was problems with the Melodyvr setup ?
https://prnt.sc/1w5i8kp was 100,000 that watched the GMA not millions ? was this the one you was moaning about ?

much appreciated :)
agreed mel.any positive news would be most welcome! gl
Hi Mel5
Another share I'm in at the moment has just finished the last of it's CLNs today
It finished the day just over 26% up .I know we would like more then that
Will be interesting to see what the market has install for us all when the NAPS final CLNs cleared RNS comes out
Hi AP, Italian,
Great to be corrected, N&G website confusing, let’s see what the next tranche brings, as you I’m under water with this share, so any positive news would be good! GLA
Absolute pish Croydon, the 1st GMA gig was a total fiasco and nobody could connect (including the host who was on screen to millions with a frozen tablet). The 2nd had no real impact on anything other than to show those of us watching what a miserable time an American crowd at a live tv event has being bellowed at and abused by the floor manager.
Covid happened months afterwards and just gave the board yet another excuse not to deliver. MVR was a gilded turd.
Can picture it now, Jimmy Lennon Jr at one of the Fury fights; “Sponsored by Napsteeeeer, the new generation music app.”

Djp57 and Italian are correct.
To clarify, N & G hold 364 million shares, or 12.3%
We calculated in August their average is 1.48p. So 1.49p would see them into profit. Although I somehow think they will hold out for a bit more than that. LOL.
It may be they have already bought another tranche. There was a ten day gap in August before it was RNSed - 6th to 16th.
Hi Croydon, sorry for the late reply, phones not been working. Yeah I agree about not spending the money on prime time advertising. Still think the advertising at the pay per view boxing nights would be a good avenue to promote the product. When Michael Buffer does the sponsors stub hub etc, the walkout songs could be sponsored by Napster and the logo on the ropes.
I was invested before then so I remember it well
And let's hope so Croydonboys as I'm due a new motorbike next year so I'd like to see some profit :))
afternoon dip57 and mel again. that's exactly correct. if you read the associated press releases, particularly the second one, they make it crystal clear. it's what i thought, but i wanted to check the site before responding.
