Yes Toniinot,
Actually the correct line should be, "I'm just happy to wake up in the morning .... the wife hates that"
Bob Monkhouse or Tommy Cooper I think.
Djp57 - I think most blokes 'get excited' in the morning. It's all natural.
I know the feeling
At my age, I get excited when I wake up in the morning...
Wife hates that...
Please, please don't get excited too much, you should expect nothing appreciate everything
Well said Albert.
It excites me too!
As a music streaming company, Spotify aren't going to be affected by Covid.
And to repeat, Melody weren't doing music streaming in 2020.
Why not just wait and see what our H1 figures are?
And this time next year it will all be within the new app.
This might not excite you, but it does me.
*Download apps not streaming apps
Albert we were talking about the potential income from streaming services, across the board the streaming apps have increased income during the various lockdowns. I would be very disappointed if Napster hasn’t had a similar increase in income and market share. These are the figures which IMO will determine our future. That said Spotify have been uploading 62,000 new tracks per day. So I would also hope to see a similar increase in content from Napster, otherwise I fear we will be left behind.
'Covid or no Covid the income should be there.'
Offler, have look at LN's revenue for 2019, and then 2020. From $11.5b to $1.8b. A drop of 85 per cent.
That's my point
But Napster wasn't part of Melody in 2020. At least, not until 29 December.
Spotify figures show a 16% increase in income for 2020, so clearly if the product pleases the market Covid or no Covid the income should be there
The revenue for 2020 was less the 1M
So I'm expecting more then that (alot more)
In just H1 with Napster's integration
The figures will represent the first six months since Napster's integration, but obviously not within the new app.
So we are at a sort of halfway house.
2020 was all about Covid and little else. And that goes for everyone.
Although Melody did get the LG gig on just before Christmas.
