Just how do nanosys make their purported cadmium free dots and what is their composition I wonder?
While simultaneously actively supporting nanosys’ own efforts
Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Samsung had a part to play in thwarting nanoco’s efforts re AUO etc
Nanosys seem to be well honed at letting Nanoco build relationships and participate in product development with potential customers and then stealing in at the last minute to sign the deals. So I'm with BeingTheBanker on this one I'm afraid.
I disagree., I think the real prize is the new business and I am optimistic about that. The bonus, if it arrives, will be a massive payout if/when Nanoco wins in the courts against Samsung.
Couldn't we turn up with our wilful infringement claims on a giant screen with suitable background music.
We should be able to hold our heads high and not sure what Samsung will be displaying ?
Every Browser will have the same functionality. Just maybe not under the same menus.
Nanonano, I agree but after the positive mood music around the capital raise,we have heard nothing yet. There is Merck, Plessey, Stmicro and the hint of a display customer, but so far nothing. Carewear seem to be doing well, but no info on quantities. Let's hope some concrete news actually gets released soon. We need it!
Nanoco either need a deal with Samsung or some more contracts. The market knows they're still relying on investors capital to keep going, and although the STmicro contract is a good contract but I don't think it's likely to be anywhere near enough to make the company a going concern.
A couple more similar contracts would underpin the company at least for the near term.
Thank you basscadet. It does depend on the OS and the Web broser, you are right. Imay move to firefox if it gives this facility. SorryBotBot if it didn't help.
You can test whether it's an old cookie by loading the page in incognito mode and trying to log in. That way you don't have to delete everything before realising it doesn't even fix the problem.
Also, you can delete just LSE's cookies Screenlearner. For example in Firefox go to Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Cookies & Site Data -> Manage Data and type "LSE" in the search box. Remove the 13 cookies that come up. Saves losing all the session data for your other sites.
Went in. Deleted all cookies and history... it didn’t work.! I’m using a MacBook for personal. Haven’t tried logging in on my Surface into LSE. Oh well.
So the good news is that my two days of moaning has been two days of rises.
I think I will have another moan tomorrow as well .!
Botbot, It could also be your cookies. Over the years I havre come across the problem of the "old" cookies retaining some incorrect info on a whole range of different websites which has stopped me signing in. Usually deleting the cookies from your PC will enable the site to work okay BUT it is a last resort as you loose ALL your useful cookies as well as potentially theproblem one - really annoying! Had this problem on LSE, Audible, Netflix and others. But don't blame me if it doesn't work for you!
I know this sounds crazy, but is the time set correctly on your PC? Some sites do a check against your local time and if its offset by too much they don't like it and will decline log in.
Wished something exciting would happen..
Soz Bot - I have not had that problem on LSE.
Jason Hartlove is a very charismatic guy and Nanosys certainly has a very different approach to NANO. There is no doubt they are the ones to beat. However, ME says we have the best CFQD. We either need convert that statement to sales via Merck (or Dow) or become the leader in IR sensor technology.
Also. Does anyone k ow why when you try to login to LSE on a computer that it says login error. I have reset my password. Checked and rechecked and then realised that I’m all fine on my phone.!
I noticed we were missing as well. We seem to have a very weak continuation of the old approach which has got us nowhere to date. Nanosys are real sales people out there making deals all the time and we seem to be weak and hiding. Very disappointing about Merck. Very disappointing about the lack of sale. Now we are pushing for a lawsuit and blaming the fact that Nanoco has failed purely because one company didn’t do the right thing and buy a license, alleging IP theft. Very disappointing currently....
Display week 2020 is on now Dow are there but no sign of Nanoco and nothing to say it would appear.
Nanosys might have Shoei but NANO has had a Manufacture and distribution agreement with Dow for years and also a fully operational factory next door to Samsung for years!
I am going to guess that Shoei/Nanosys will not suffer from the same sales ineptitude that Dow suffers (for whatever reason). QD’s time in Display is arriving, so NANO needs to ensure that it secures a good share.
