dtrade that would be the perfect first off . i would like to believe that LN / Melody will have programmed the 4 venues , the news over the coming weeks will be non stop and very well thought out , all LTH keep hold of those golden nuggets .
Good luck , theatre next .
Hi LordFont,
With the partners MelodyVR have engaged there will be no conflict of interest or contractual problems with pretty well all headline artists.
The fact MelodyVR are also introducing new up and coming artists is great, the interest is already there, now it’s a time sit back and enjoy the momentum gathering.
The first artist will be an important choice, there has to be a follow on of artists, rather than an explosive experience and people expectations are not met with follow on material, I expect it to be a ‘shop window’ exercise with a series of artists providing material with a mixture of music enticing a diverse set of music lovers.
I’ll not be saying much on the board for the next few weeks, as the informative side of the board appears to have become a playground!! Anyway I’ll be looking in now and again, but definitely just before August!! GLA
"I'm surprised this news hasn't affected the share price" is one of those things said on these boards to an annoying amount, but in this case it does actually seem justified.
Tie-up with LiveNation & TicketMaster? Share news doesn't get much more interesting than that.
Anyway, I expecting news on artists to perform at Brixton *very* soon. Being a music fan as well as an investor I'm on tenterhooks.
Also looking at this car outside to view is a nonsense , Wembley for example ( only for size figures )
can take 500 cars max so 2000 fans in one sitting if 4 allowed in the car . would never cover the costs .
Mel
i have been doing some nosing , it seems every artist is somehow connected to Live nation . this deal with Melody is incredible , 3 billion approx , the artists wont like their pot shrinking .
A lot of synergy with a lot of artists already working with MelodyVR!

Endless opportunities.. I think the likes of the Chemical Brothers would align very well with a VR experience and attract a lot of interest if offered via MVR.
agree with that canary dwarf.i think it is becoming very apparent that the next stage, if it is to lead to any sustainable s/p rise, is going to require bigger names. im not talking the A word or similar, as i think that is just too fanciful at he moment, but bigger names than we have had recently (legend doesn't count imo as he's a musicians musician and not really a grabber, although i think melody did well to get him to kick things off venue wise).i am hoping and expecting that this is what we will get from brixton,as well as the other venues.LNa re going to want the brixton set up to be very successful, so i do expect better quality names and once that gets going i expect to see some proper s/p traction.apologies to the legend fans, it just a personal opinion and i know he is quite a big star.
Hopefully some big names. Bigger the name, bigger the $, higher the SP..
Wow
Artists to perform at Brixton.
Any thoughts regarding the next news out from MVR? PlayStation support, announcement of artists to perform at the Brixton Academy event(s), subscription model ....?
