pud a.k.a the spotted dick. Just some stats for you.
1. Overall Spotify made a loss by the end of 2019, and although operating losses were down to $18.4 million (£14.8m), which is far better than the $51 million (£41m) loss made in the previous year, it was still a hefty loss
2. How much is Spotify worth? It has been reported that Spotify is currently worth in the region of $28 billion (£22.5bn), although at one point in mid-2018 it was worth over $33 billion (£25bn)
It doesn't matter what MVR do you will find a way to **** them off, what a pudding
Actuall Mel is a relative newcomer to the board. The Oracle from 2016 to 2018 was the guy churning out list of deals and partnership.I think I once described AM as Mr deals on wheels.A portion of people on here feel that we are being taken on a long bus ride to nowhere.Ok have the deals in place but what good are they if you don’t capitalise on them.Patience can only go so far.
Pudding
have a go at the points/facts listed please .
Business model ? There isn’t one yet .
It’s lost 30m plus over last few years .
Effing deluded
Whats happened from 5PM Friday to today for such negative comments ??
There are a fair amount of other VR companies but none of them near Melodies Business model , Mel posted a list as long as your arm some Months ago with proof of the signed deals , what other VR company can you put forward with the same size library , then there is the deal with LN oh AND JG , this is in the bag and Covid have only slowed the process but this will all be happening or shall we ignore the signed partnership deals with L/N and JG ? and of course there will be other VR and standard filming , Melody cant film every show . what about all the Artists that are not with L/N , they need income . and still more deals to be signed and maybe the big deal . GL LTH :)
It was the NOMAD's words, not mine.
Funny though, they didn't mention cassette tapes anywhere.
If immersive graphics and video with social integration is old technology then what would you call MVRs offering of straight video with their 5 jump spots? Hardly cutting edge is it. Don’t worry though, Melody will be bringing back music via cassette tape next and you’ll still rave about having no competition :)
That might keep Puddin quiet for the rest of the day A1EX . Or at least it SHOULD.
Lord
Who said you could verify my post??
I'll sue ! (and then you can sue him !)
Pinky and perky !!
Albert
I can verify that i have read your post but will be using this written fact out of context and completely ignore the content :)
Hilarious from the chuckle brothers.
It was only a month so ago you were moaning about fake trees at Wireless Connect. You’re now trophying a platform that turns artists into ‘Xbox’ like computer graphics. This is old technology, nothing new. A load of sensor points mapped to a 3D wireframe model. Point out the pioneering tech?
The music industry and related consumers want to experience a concert, not a computer game. Sure, high numbers with regards to the Travis Scott event but that’s because of its association with fortnite (that’s a game btw)...
Arden report last November, when assessing the competition said the following
Wave - No competition. 'Is not for recording artists.'
Noys - Again no competition. 'Clearly not focused on 360VR.'
Drifting to the wilderness.
Obsolete before proper launch.
Well done Matchett .
