I don't know what all of NextVRs patents were for but some of them were for volumetric video capture using the proprietary cameras they made - it was because of these patents that Apple bought them. I don't see what MVR could have patented given they use standard 360 video capture (although their cameras are getting better so maybe they are building their own now) and I doubt the MVR viewer will be anything revolutionary, I've not heard much about them but I'm expecting a cheap viewer that the user just slots their phone in.
The intrinsic value to MVR comes from the back catalog they're building and the licenses they have with artists/labels/venues/telcos. As long as they keep adding to this the value of the company is increasing even if the SP isn't.
I think NextVR being bought by Apple is a real positive for MVR in the long run, definitely not bad for us anyway.
The Patents if there are any should be in the annual accounts, and they would have some value, or at least cost. There should be a value, and notes referring to some basic information. The last accounts 2018 had no mention of patents.

i have had a look for the tech as well and cant find anything worth posting , they must have a few patents as they are very far ahead , also they will be going for R and D so that could improve the results .
Hi all
Looking forward to the results + momentum gained from the Wireless stream. I'm hoping the line-up should be worth shouting about given the amount of skin in the game (Live Nation, Ally Pally etc.) The share price jumped from almost the exact price to 8p last year, and that's without the huge percentage gains in views over the past 2 months / general growth news which will come with the report.
Just wondered if anyone knows what patents Melody holds? I've tried to do some digging but obvs not very well and I'm slightly conscious of the 26 or so NextVR holds and how that might restrict growth/cause issues later down the line.
